Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We use the payroll processing features mostly. We also use expense and onboarding. This has helped streamline and integrate all three processes. onboarding is more organized and standardized.
  • Integrates onboarding and payroll
  • Quick service for issues
  • Integrates expense reimbursement with payroll
  • Some setup always requires help, it's not intuitive/easy to do.
  • Expense is nice, but it does not make the finance side of expense management any easier. it does make the employee's side easier.
  • Have features that make expense easier to use without purchasing a general ledger.
  • Consistency in onboarding, not missing required documents
  • Better employee access to payroll/employment info
  • One stop shop
Similar product, but more control from our company than Paychex. Less individualized service than Paychex. Better service than Paycor. Similar onboarding to Paycor.

The system works well, service is fast, but some service reps do not seem to have enough knowledge to solve issues. I have been given incorrect advice and have encountered issues that required multiple calls and talks with many different reps. Not all companies use the general ledger from Paylocity and things are set up for its use.
