Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

We originally signed up for Paylocity to help us with our growing HR needs. We needed a HRIS tool to help manage the growth of our company. Paylocity is not what we hoped for. It is a payroll software at best but that is about it. In my opinion, none of its other HR tools are good enough to help our HR team.

We were hoping that Paylocity would help our business as we continue to grow in employees but, in my experience, Paylocity has been a problem since day one and is just very expensive payroll software for us. I feel all the other tools that Paylocity offers are just subpar and not easy to use.
We do not use any of these tools as we are not overall impressed with Paylocity and will be looking to switch soon for a more robust system that is a true HRIS tool.
Paycom is superior to Paylocity but Paycom is very expensive. We chose Paylocity because it is affordable and came from a co-workers recommendation.

In my opinion, Paylocity is an overpriced payroll software. We were hoping it would be a robust HRIS tool but we are lucky to even get payroll to process with Paylocity. In my experience, this tool is expensive with very poor customer support. We are looking to change as soon as possible.
