Overall Satisfaction with Procore

We use it for construction services, drafting and sending subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders. it also helps us keep up with current project drawings and specifications. We also use it for timecards. Everyone in our company uses Procure from the office to financials to the field. It helps keep everyone on the same page with a central location everyone involved in the project can go to when they need certain information.
  • There customer service! So helpful and quick to respond when we need something. It was also nice having the implementation meetings when we first began.
  • I personally like the way it looks, very professional. We used a different construction program before Procore and it looked like it came out of the 80s.
  • Change events and change orders can be hard to navigate between. I personally think they could do away with change events and you could create a commitment change order directly in the commitment and the contract change orders would just be prime contract potential change orders until they are rolled into an actual contract change order.
  • Some of our subcontracts have trouble with understanding the Procore emails they receive when we send out contracts. Maybe make them a little more user-friendly. They seem completely fine to me, but we have had trouble with some of our subcontractors knowing how to use it.
Sage doesn't even compare to Procore. Procore is a 10 and sage is a 0. We selected Procore because it would be more beneficial for the whole company, including the field, instead of just office personnel.
We have definitely benefited. The field has really jumped in with the mobile app and used the field reports, drawings, and submittals as well. It seems really helpful for them to be able to go into the project they are currently supervising and be able to get everything they need. It is also beneficial that you can see what other people have added and it all goes to the same place so there is less confusion. The cloud-based access is great. I also love the submittal process where everyone involved in that submittal is notified when a response is submitted, distributed and closed. It takes care of time-saving and sending emails individually.
  • All of the above, saved time paper and increased efficiency. I love it!
  • Ensure information is accessible and up to date
  • Document job site conditions
  • Report on incidents and inspections
  • Identify job site risks
  • Track cost impacts from the field
  • Streamline financial reporting
  • Improve forecast accuracy
  • Simplify employee time tracking
Our safety manager uses Procore to document his site visits which is awesome. The superintendents can document job progress, which is great to keep all in one place and people can view them easily if needed. I have had less follow up with unsigned documents since we started using Procore which is great.
I think new things are hard to adjust no matter how great they are or how easy they seem. But, once you get started and get in the groove it is pretty easy to figure things out, and the videos helped as well.
I think it is very suitable for a construction company of our size (around 30 employees) and is amazing. I tell everyone how much I love Procore. I wouldn't be able to recommend to companies other than construction because I haven't used any of those modules, but I think it's great!
