Overall Satisfaction with Qubit
Qubit was used by the development team for tag management, but I was using it for analysis and AB testing, as well as qualitative feedback. It addressed the business problem that we wanted more insight into what's driving performance for our business, but didn't have much in the way of an in-house analytics team - we relied heavily on the analyst they assigned to our account who did really great work.
Pros
- Integrated components - the data capture for tag management feeds into the analysis and reporting, which in turn ties into the qualitative feedback and AB testing tool.
- Intelligent team - everyone we met at Qubit was extremely intelligent and competent.
- Focus on ROI - they put together a tracking document showing everything they'd helped us with and how much return it had driven, which easily justified the fees.
Cons
- Currently I see Qubit as a premium service - now I work with startups I'd like to see a low cost version to help us get started and grow into one of their enterprise clients
- There were a lot of requests we made that required custom work, when competitors had these types of reports as standard
- We managed to improve conversion rate on our purchase page by a significant percentage via a series of AB tests, which had a six figure impact on our bottom line.
- Qubit managed to prove that users on mobile were viewing our products then purchasing on desktop (and were therefore worth more), which helped us prioritise cross-device features on our roadmap.
- Qubit used cluster analysis to show that there were two very different audiences using two of our different products, when we used to think there was a lot of crossover.
- Optimizely,Google Analytics,omniture
Each competitor does a certain piece of the puzzle, but Qubit offered a whole integrated approach, with analyst support built in to help us use the tools to gain real insight.
