Overall Satisfaction with QuickBase

Quickbase is used across several of our departments to manage major software implementations, requirements, specifications and testing.
  • Quickbase serves as a helpful resource for organizing project artifacts.
  • The environment helps ensure project team members are on the same page.
  • Managing test scripts for UAT has never been easier.
  • The environment is not user-friendly, at least from the perspective of those who need to create their own applications.
Quickbase custom applications can be very helpful and are certainly very customizable. However, the user interface needs some improvement to encourage usage. Most individuals end up using an existing application and tailoring it to meet their needs.
Quickbase is a reliable solution that is relatively easy to begin using immediately.
Mildly difficult -- Quickbase is not as difficult as SharePoint, but not as easy as Asana. You need to have a basic understanding of databases and relational databases to use quickbase properly.
  • Improving collaboration across one or more teams
  • Building and deploying an application (or multiple applications) that meets our exact needs
My first quickbase application took about 3 days to develop as I wasn't familiar with the tool and could not find resources or tutorials to understand it. I felt that quickbase had several options, but it was difficult to understand how best to apply them.
Quickbase is well suited for any project requirement task and resource management, requirements tracking and testing.
