Overall Satisfaction with Quickbase
Our organization uses Quickbase for Project Management, production, field work tracking, training tracking, travel tracking and more! The platform allows us to standardize workflows across the company, eliminate spreadsheets and emails, phone calls, etc. in turn, increasing production. It has allowed us to automate many workflows that were previously very manual and time consuming. The best part is that it's easy and quick to set up. We have even used it for Disaster Recovery when Hurricanes hit and our work is needed in those areas. We can build an app in a day or two so that there is one centralized system that everyone has access to in order to record important information that can be accessed anywhere and reported on later.
Pros
- Ease of use and development
- Quickbase Development Training and Certifications are offered through QB University
- Communication - I feel that I am always kept up to date on all the latest things. Quickbase seems to really care how each company is doing and performs routine check-ins
Cons
- Pipelines - being able to share them or have permissions based viewing capabilities
- Table size limits are small for really large apps. While I agree that there needs to be a cap on the size, it would be nice to adjust it up when needed.
- ROI is HUGE. Our company saved over 3.5 million in one year alone based on developments that year in Quickbase that saved time for many teams
- Less user error - implementing automations and standardized workflows has led to less user error as was previously seen by maintaining spreadsheets or Smartsheets
