Overall Satisfaction with Quickbase

So one big thing with us is supply chain management. At the moment, we have various applications that are holding our purchase orders or our sales orders. So we're using QuickBase as one centralized location to hold all of those purchase orders. As well as those purchase orders are also involving devices. So we have like serial numbers of modems, things of that nature. We need to track the device lifecycle. So we've created another application that works together with our supply chain to track those serial numbers.
  • I love the reporting aspect of it. Building reports and being able to export the CSV files on the fly is heavens and truly.
  • Technically. I was a little bit technical. So API calls. So in getting information from QuickBase, it really just gives you the metadata of the table and you have to be very specific in your script to try to parse through that information. It doesn't just give you the J S O N file, like the J s O payload at once.
  • All positive. As I mentioned, we've been using previously six systems, we've now consolidated and gotten rid of two of those applications. So that's yearly subscriptions off of my company's back.
Of Course not too much actually. That's one very big advantage to quick base is you don't necessarily need code if you need to or if you have that under your belt, that is something that can be used and it's very beneficial. So I would say level difficulty, maybe a six if that.
Yes, definitely we've achieved this benefit because this has given us direct line of sight to those purchase orders. As I mentioned before, I would have to send 10 emails to someone, Hey, do you have this file? Hey, do you have this file? Hey, do you have this file? Instead of that, anyone in the company can just look in this one centralized location.
I've used Power bi, Tableau Reports, and a number of other ones.
