Overall Satisfaction with QuickBooks Online Advanced

I use QB Online Advanced daily for billing, payables, reports, etc. Our main motivation to upgrade to Advanced was due to an incident where we needed to restore a backup of files that were lost prior to a deadline vs. having to re-enter all data for that (which we did have to). That prompted the upgrade so it would never happen again.

Pros

  • Report details for specific periods
  • Ability to update information easily for clients and vendors
  • Banking info that's current and up to date for reconciliations

Cons

  • For billing, I wish you could choose which options show so as not to choose "CREDIT MEMO" (for example) when needing SALES RECEIPT, etc.
  • As above, be able to tailor your various pages to reflect only the things you actually use
  • Only PURCHASE features that you actually NEED vs the entire package of everything you don't ever use.
  • A positive impact in ease of billing clients and receiving funds / sometimes the SAME DAY when necessary
  • Having access to a Merchant Account that is connected to QB
  • Having access to various accounting reports for tax season
It was very easy and user friendly. We upgraded from the previous on-line software which was upgraded from the DESKTOP version years ago.
Our industry is different from others - CONCIERGE SERVICES - are not specifically addressed anywhere
We chose to upgrade for the BackUp / Restore feature
