Overall Satisfaction with RemotePC

I use RemotePC to access different computers on the network and provide support for the users. The use is to provide support for users at the company and provide routine maintenance. Common tasks are fixing printing issues, resolving software issues(word, excel, outlook, etc). I also use RemotePC to perform routine maintenance(updates, security fixes, etc). RemotePC is easy to use and setup and allows me access to the network via an online portal or stand alone app.

I purchased RemotePC to use on computers that had an issue with Splashtop. Splashtop was purchased due to the huge Logmein price increase. All three have very similar tools and uses. Logmein is a very solid tool but the pricing is restrictive for small companies. Splashtop is a good tool. I am on a grandfathered account at older pricing. If I upgraded to get some of the new features I would completely replace with RemotePC.

RemotePC is a good platform with most the tools you need to support remote computers. It is easy to deploy and use. I found less issues with security software than some other remote tools. Pricing is good for a single users but can get a little high if a large number of computers need to be supported.

Using RemotePC

25 - Most users do not access computers. Maybe only 10 employees access computers. Those functions are retail. sales and administration.
1 - There is only myself to provide support.

I still find value in this tool. If I needed to increase computers supported, I would need to revaluate pricing concerns.

Evaluating RemotePC and Competitors

Yes - RemotePC was purchased to work on computers that Splashtop could not access due to conflicts with antivirus/security software. I has multiple computers running Avast software. I could not access via Splashtop and support could not find a fix.. Hence getting RemotePC.
