Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Our department only currently uses it for our client billing, vendor payment, and financial management. It allows for better visibility and control of our AP and AR.
  • The system is very user-friendly. It is very easy to navigate thru various applications.
  • The generated reports are very easy to understand and look very professional for our clients.
  • The import functions are not as user-friendly, and the error notifications that come along after attempted imports are oftentimes hard to decipher.
  • The current bank reconciliation process is a bit manual but I understand that this is currently being approved upon.
  • Our collection abilities have improved through the use of detailed reporting.
I do not believe we are currently using any automation.
I have not used any of the financial capabilities as my role has not required that to date.
When I began working with Sage Intacct, my company had already completed integration. Based on the classes taken at the conference, it sounds like it is an extensive process, but thorough.
Quickbooks is not as user friendly and does not provide the detailed information in the same way as Sage Intacct.
I think Sage Intacct would work for any company in any industry. It is much more thorough than other programs, such as Quickbooks. The customer support is also top notch in comparison to other software companies. I do not know if small companies with not a lot of need for extensive AR/AP records or financial reporting would benefit from Intacct because of its cost.
