Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is being used for all accounting and finance functions for our organization. It is not being utilized by any other departments such as HR, IT, etc. It is addressing a myriad of problems such as ease of posting/looking up invoices, internal audit procedures, paying for invoices, and importing journal entries. In my opinion, the best thing about Sage is the import templates. For example, I just used an import template to update 498 vendors at once with ACH information so I didn't have to manually type them all in.
- Import Templates
- Smart Rules to prevent errors
- Ease of Daily Bank Reconciliations
- Easier Collaboration between coworkers
- Some small functionality issues such as inability to go "down" on an entry to enter numbers quicker. It is possible through a shortcut of Alt-Down Arrow but that makes it more difficult than just the down arrow.
- ROI has been immediate in saved time. It has saved me at least 5 hours every Monday.
- ROI has also been immediate in employee stress levels. We are able to do much more, much easier than before with QuickBooks.
Yes it has. We have been able to automate our daily bank deposits through a customized Excel Spreadsheet created for us by Alta Vista representatives. All we have to do is go to our banking website, download all of the deposits for the day in CSV format and use the spreadsheet to transform the data and upload it.
I haven't used these financial capabilities yet.
Sage Intacct is much more user friendly than QuickBooks because we have 100 entities that are now all within one login. In QuickBooks we had to login and out of different entities in order to post an invoice to a particular entity. This solves a lot of frustration and saves hours per week.
