Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We use Sage Intacct in the central office and foundation and in our 90 parishes and 19 schools. It solves our fund balancing and reporting issues.
- Dimension structure
- Audit trail on any transaction
- Able to have more internal controls on access and Chart of Accounts
- Help function on any screen or module
- Can't search by amount in cash management module - a must need for our organization
- Bank reconciliation - like the new features but do not like the appearance and that it doesn't separate checks and deposits. Was told it help with speed, which makes sense but could they be separated by colors ….check/debits have a light blue or green background so they stand out from the deposits/credits?
- Building custom reports without interactive report writer should not be so hard. I feel like I need to take a IT course to build a custom report in Sage.
- We are structured to work at top level at all times. It would be nice if our users at one location have access to only one location, that the location dimension would default in transactions based off that user profile.
- JE imports have cut my data entry time from 5 days to one day.
- Being able to close all 120 locations in a click of a button has saved me 6 hours a month compared to our process where I had to close each location individually.
- Combining reporting for all locations is not a manual process anymore.
- Fund Balancing for nonprofit is more automatic than manual compared to our previous software.
- JE entries are now imports - saves a lot of time
- Purchase Order/Ap approval workflow is automated and paperless now since we scan and store info in Sage. No more filing and storage boxes
- AR monthly billing to our 120 locations is an import now, no more entering and creating separate items and invoices
- QuickBooks - Sage beats it hands down
- Cyma - Sage is a lot like Cyma but better with dimensions and internal controls and reporting
- Peachtree - Sage beats it hands down
- Qradar - used prior to 1998 so anything is better than that version
