Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage Intacct is primarily used by our accounting department and our procurement department. It addresses the complexity of our company, which QuickBooks could not handle.
Pros
- The software itself is very easy to use and user friendly.
- The reporting is very robust.
- The software helps multi-currency/multi-entity organizations a lot.
Cons
- I'd like to see more turn-key integrations/functionality. Too many things are add-ons.
- I'd like to see some basic reporting for auditors included in the report packages.
- Three-way currency match for AP/AR would be nice.
- Being able to automate invoicing has saved days of work for our accounting team.
- Running global consolidations on a recurring schedule has saved a lot of time for our team.

Yes
Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?
Yes
Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy Sage Intacct again?
Yes
Our company has benefited from the automation of the accounts receivable module and order management. Prior to using Intacct, every single invoice was manually emailed or sent to customers. With Intacct, we're able to set up recurring invoices that cut out some of the prep time as well as mass emailing of the invoices.
QuickBooks was good enough to send invoices and complete our accounting processes on a basic level. As we grew over the past few years, our needs expanded and QuickBooks no longer met those needs. Sage has met and fulfilled those needs with our multi-currency and multi-entity demands. It also integrates with our existing PO software and our travel software.
