Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

Intacct is used in a variety of ways. It is used to reconcile expenses, submit advance, create vendors, conduct performance reviews, timesheets, time off benefits, running reports, as well as a host of other financial and administrative services. Intacct is used across the entire organization and has streamlined a number of processes. It is an impressive tool to organize complex services for a large number of employees.
  • Running monthly, quarterly and annual reports to show financial standing and trajectory.
  • It helps managers conduct a transparent and detailed performance review process.
  • It gives employees a clear breakdown of their time off benefits so that they are able to plan time for self care in an efficient manner.
  • Uploading attachment to an expense report does act up sometimes. I'd would be great if the upload has a saved attachment section so you can use previous docs. Also, if one doc is to be added, the upload deletes the previous attachments. I'd be wonderful if the upload accepts adding in docs to the already saved docs. What happens is that when new docs are added, the upload starts from scratch, deleting the previous doc.
  • For performance reviews, it'd be great for the font, layout to be a bit more interactive and easy to work with. Updating text boxes will be the first step. Allowing for more interactive options like a photo in the text box, etc.
  • For downloading financial reports, I'd be great if Intacct makes the process a bit easier so that it is bit less intimidating.
  • I believe this is a question for our finance department but I can say from my prospective that it is a great tool to have in an organization.
I believe that automating these processes has benefited the organization's financial efficacy. It makes reporting on expenses and finances a lot more reliable to report to donors and stakeholders.
Unfortunately, I'm not using these capabilities. I know our finance team learns these advanced modules to enhance processes.
I believe our finance team took a course via Intacct to learn configuration.

Haven't been introduced to any other similar service.
Sage Intacct is well suited for any organization that seeks to streamline as well as document HR, finance, and other administrative processes. It is less suited for smaller organizations of 10 and below where a simple spreadsheet is more efficient.
