Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
Sage [Intacct[ is being used company wide by all our business units. [Sage] Intacct is making it easier to track all accounting with one software, rather than all acquisitions using some version of Quickbooks.
Pros
- Tracking top level and individual company level expenses.
- Very customizable to what's needed.
- Ability to do imports and integrate with many different software.
Cons
- More tutorials on using the contracts feature
- The executive team is able to see revenue standings at a glance a lot easier - facilitating decision making across various business units.
Yes! We had some automation set up in Quickbooks, and it was great to see that we were able to keep those automated processes in place. That said, in Quickbooks, things were slightly more automated, in Sage [Intacct], we still have to manually bring over the files when it comes to importing them.
Contract revenue management is such a great revenue to stay in compliance with ASC606! For customers that have revenue contracts, it is great that we're able to get them set up so Sage [Intacct] automatically books revenue entries as that is being earned. Definitely helps in terms of proving this is being done to the auditors.
Do you think Sage Intacct delivers good value for the price?
Yes
Are you happy with Sage Intacct's feature set?
Yes
Did Sage Intacct live up to sales and marketing promises?
No
Did implementation of Sage Intacct go as expected?
Yes
Would you buy Sage Intacct again?
Yes
Quickbooks doesn't have the capacity to do what we need on a larger scale. It's great when a business is starting out, but it's not practical when our company has a lot of acquisitions throughout the year. Streamlining accounting to one program has been great for us.
