Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct
We use [Sage] Intacct for all of our accounting needs except for AR management. I use [Sage]Intacct on a daily basis to manage AP and to do our daily journal entries postings. We do not use it for our AR management as we deal with many (hundreds) of unique students every semester and Intacct would not be able to address our needs by connecting our current Student accounting system and our CRM to manage all these profiles. Other than that issue, [Sage] Intacct has been great to use for my current needs.
- I like how Vendors are stored and I can add the information I will need in the future, like the W9 file and bank information.
- I like how attachments on invoices can be updated and stored on the invoice itself. Makes it easy to get back and refer to it.
- I enjoy the ease of use of inputting information and the shortcuts available.
- The worse this is when doing a journal entry and needing to input the amounts if you want to click away and input in another cell, it will always take you back to the former cell first.
- I wish some reports were more easily viewable - some you have to download to see, which can be a burden.
- I wish I was able to have multiple windows open of Intacct at a time. There is sometime a need to see another screen to reference information for a current screen.
We do not currently use any automation processes with Sage Intacct, though we are considering automation of AP and bank recs. I can imagine it would be very helpful to have [an] automation feature for these to increase ease of use and lessen manual input and time on that. So this question is inapplicable to me and my use of the software.
I do not use [Sage] Intacct for these purposes, and my position does not allow me to make decisions regarding if we could use these in the future. This question is inapplicable to me.

[Sage] Intacct is far superior. It is easier to use and is a more professional software meant for accountants. I enjoy that I can easily navigate the software to my needs versus QB is less intuitive and more difficult to navigate. Intacct also has way less glitches, that QB is so prone to and often without solution.
