Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors
Since it entered our lives, SuccessFactors has completely transformed how we do performance management. We utilized Excel sheets before our HR department introduced us to SuccessFactors, which has helped us build transparency in our appraisal cycle. Now, we can see how our ratings are, where improvements need to be made, and suggestions from my manager regarding which targets were achieved and which ones were not.
Pros
- This software offers us the ability to raise questions during the appraisal cycle, as well as give us an overview of the various steps we follow during the appraisal process and also provides one-stop solutions for all my needs, such as applying for leave and checking salary slips.
- The onboarding and hiring process was changed with this tool, and it also generated attendance reports and performance reports for employees.
- There are a number of training courses available in the SAP Learning Hub that can help you improve the configuration. If you are familiar with them then you can easily fix it yourself first. Unless something needs to be modified in Provisioning.
Cons
- Getting employees trained on the product is an essential part of process change management. With SuccessFactors, there are so many possibilities, it is imperative that all employees are trained. Untrained users may not be able to use the tool to its fullest potential and may encounter difficulties as they attempt to use it.
- To create reports that can use data from multiple modules, reporting tools must be easier to use and have more controls over date ranges and capabilities. - Make the Position Management equal to or better than SAP R/3 Organization Management.
- After changing to a twice-yearly release schedule, I have noticed that the releases have become somewhat unstable in terms of testing all the pieces in a timely manner.
