Overall Satisfaction with SAP SuccessFactors
My company uses SAP SuccessFactors as the main system of record. It has several interfaces tied to it so payroll can run, but not in every country. For 40% of our workforce, it is used for goal setting and performance management. It is also used for the calculation of annual bonuses and compensation planning. I am one of the users that manages Employee Central and the main SME for the Talent Modules.
- Visually pleasant. I like the UI
- I'm happy with the workflow design approach. It forces you to standardize
- The position org chart is very well structured
- Calibration of number specific ratings could be added with a big scale. We use EXEL to fill this need
- Would like to add company-wide goals and tie them to my individual performance goals
- Performance and goal evaluation functionality that is more focused on operators and shop floor workers
- Improved employee experience
- Helped us standardize some items
- Provide greater control to HR
Overall, employees are very happy with SAP SuccessFactors. We recently implemented the talent modules and ran the first cycle last year. It just worked and data from EC was flowing as expected to the modules and vice versa. One area I believe I hear constant complaints from my colleagues is LMS and how different it is from the rest of the SAP configuration and integration.
- Lumesse (Discontinued), SAP ERP and Oracle Taleo Cloud
SAP SuccessFactors is far superior to them. The usability is much simpler, and it just makes sense. Greta UI and outs things in plain language and in a familiar structure so the average HR user can use it and have a short learning curve.
