Overall Satisfaction with ScreenConnect
Used by two IT support staff to remotely assist end-users with all aspects of their desktop applications and enterprise apps, as well as maintenance, upgrades, troubleshooting, & training.
- Easy to set up and use.
- Doesn't muck-up the video settings on the remotely connected device.
- ScreenConnect adds all of the printers present at the host to the client that it connects to. This mucks-up the remote settings of default printers and is a pain to remove all the superfluous printers that seem to remain present even after the session is disconnected.
- Ability to create a VPN between host and client would be nice.
- Priced well for the features provided.
- Was able to transition from on-site to hosted seamlessly, so freed-up local resources for other apps.
- Process continuity with how users were used to being supported
Remote Desktop interferes with video settings and isn't a shared environment.
Remote Assist feature of Windows is too clunky to be useful.
On a par with TeamViewer in most respects.
Lower cost than Go2Assist, but still full featured enough.
