Overall Satisfaction with Smartlook

We looked to Smartlook when Google Analytics was falling short. I needed to create custom funnels and filters for web and apps and Smartlook was the best solution for my needs. The sales staff was wonderful and accommodating when I was trying out the platform and the customer support agents held my hand while I learned Smartlook in depth. They made it easy for my employees to learn and now our entire team is a Smartlook expert. Smartlook also makes it easy for the consumer with many plans and custom plans to fit every need.

  • They need a solution to follow app to website.
  • An easier way to send videos.
  • AI to help slog through all the videos.
  • Greater visibility on the importance of UX.
  • Greater visibility on pain points in app.
  • Greater visibility on how the user interacts with your app.
Everyone at Smartlook was kind and accommodating. The sales staff held my hand and provided me with everything I needed to work through the free account. They even extended my trial period so that I could see more data roll in. The training and onboarding team made it easy for my entire team to learn. The only reason I gave a 9/10 instead of a 10/10 is that everyone on my team had to take training at 7:30am. They don't have any training later which was inconvenient.
Smartlook is really great. They are always updating, adding new features, and have helpful tooltips for ease of use. Anytime I've been confused, it was easy to hop on a call with support or training. They really hold your hand and have near-perfect customer care. Additionally, they don't send you useless emails and unnecessary info.
Smartlook was easier to use than Google. I could still see behaviors and create filters without the fuss of slogging through Google Analytics.

UX Cam was overly aggressive in its pricing structure. The salespeople were aggressive to get you into a demo and then they drop a large price bomb on you when you are a little interested in their product.

I actually heard about Smartlook on Reddit. Other designers were raving about it. Word of mouth is what drew me in and then I fell in love with the product.

Smartlook is great for teams that are looking for more than Google Analytics. Smartlook is great for user-centered design teams. Smartlook is great for orgs that have multiple apps. Smartlook is not great for people trying to track experiences from mobile app to web. I believe they are working on this feature but it isn't there yet.
