Overall Satisfaction with SurveyMonkey
I'm not sure if it is used across the organization, but SurveyMonkey is used frequently in my department. We use it to solicit feedback around meetings in order to make better use of our time. I have also used it to assess opinion and usage around tools in order to modify trainings and increase usage. SurveyMonkey allows us to see internal feedback in an anonymous forum.
- Easy to create surveys with a variety of question types.
- Results are already in chart form, which makes it easy to quickly pull insights
- Name recognition, so people don't feel like they are providing information to a sketchy service
- Limited functionality with the free version - can only ask 10 questions and cannot crosstab results
- While there are a variety of question types, I find them somewhat limiting. I had to modify questions to fit within SurveyMonkey's question format.
- Takes time to learn how to analyze the results on a more advanced level than how they are presented.
- Helped to improve meeting efficiency and giving time back to focus on meaningful content
- Provided feedback that optimized use of our tools in a way that is most effective for clients and internal time savings
- Better customer service in knowing common questions or issues that arise with tool usage beforehand and modifying training accordingly.
