Overall Satisfaction with TeamViewer
As a manufacturer of electronic equipment, we need to provide remote technical support, in particular to our regional distributors, who are located hundreds of miles from our central engineering office. Typical problems range from being able to remotely see and analyze the behavior of some of our equipment that is at fault as well as being able to make firmware corrections if necessary. We found TeamViewer the perfect tool to solve the remote technical support challenges our activity presents us with daily.
- Actually, the way to access the remote PC is very well developed; it turns out to be a simple and, at the same time, safe process for the client.
- For our specific technical support situation, the ability to transfer files to the remote PC is essential; TeamViewer meets that requirement perfectly and in a simple way.
- The possibility of using TeamViewer in free mode for non-commercial use is very welcome.
- We have found situations of version incompatibility between the local PC and the remote PC that prevented the use of the system until they were updated to the most recent versions. It would be good to simplify that requirement if possible.
- Although it is logical that the better the internet connection, the better the system works, perhaps the use of bandwidth could be optimized even further and be able to function fluidly on slow internet connections.
- Although we do not need to transfer large files, we have seen that it becomes a bit complicated when the file to be transferred is large. However, it has worked perfectly for our daily use.
- We have 12 local distributors of our products within our country, each hundreds of miles from our engineering department. Providing technical support without the remote access functions provided by TeamViewer would negatively impact our business since it would force us to mobilize specialized personnel with the costs that this implies.
- Given the current state of technology, it is unacceptable for a customer to delay a repair until specialized personnel arrive. The benefits are not only measured in money but also in the speed of the solution. In short, more satisfied customers!

The implementation of TeamViewer was actually immediate, and it began to be used from day one, as it was a well-known tool, and the technicians were already familiar with its use. If I had to give it a rating, I would give it a nine just because of the cost of its license, which perhaps for our scale and country is a little high for us, but only for that reason. Regarding the implementation, everything was very simple!
Given the type of our business, we do not use these characteristics.
