Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use TriNet for payroll, for benefits, and employment verification.
  • Payroll for multiple states
  • EE onboarding to platform is easy
  • Chat times out too quickly. I'm still typing my Question and I have the orange banner up telling 10 sec left.
  • Better turnaround time on questions. If an item is escalated, forget it. It takes days to weeks to get an answer. (If Chat people know, then all is good)
  • Integrate with our 401K provider, Fidelity, so that process is automated.
1. Chat times out too quickly.
2. If the Chat (front line) people have to escalate your question, it will take forever to get resolved. (like weeks)
The platform is very user-friendly. On the admin side, reports are a bit challenging to find the correct one. But probably b/c I don't know the correct "lingo."

I think TriNet was looked at over Insperity b/c TriNet offers BCBS, and Insperity is UHC.
Small company who can afford to spend on this service (you're not cheap!). To have payroll and benefits on 1 platform is beneficial to the employee. Really nice when you're dealing with multiple states with different rules and tax rates. I thought there would be more client services when an EE has a question on benefits. Often they're just told to call BCBS, who wants to be on hold with them?
