Overall Satisfaction with TriNet

We use TriNet for processing payroll and providing benefits to our employees. We also use it for HR functionality. As a very small company with less than 10 employees, TriNet allows us to have the bargaining power of a much larger company and enables us to provide very competitive benefits to our employees. It also allows us to maintain a small team since TriNet can assist in areas where we do not currently have a dedicated team lead - such as for HR.

  • It is sometimes difficult to find the appropriate report I'd like to run in Workforce Analytics

I have found the TriNet team to be very knowledgeable in each scenario for which I have had to engage them. From benefits administration to open enrollment issues to separation pay to needing the appropriate paperwork for a reduction in force -- they have covered each topic with ease. If for some reason the person I was speaking to didn't have the proper answer, they easily got me to someone with deep knowledge of the area on which I had questions. You've built a great support team at TriNet!
Both the TriNet web platform and the app are very straightforward and user-friendly.
  • TriNet has allowed us to keep a small team since they handle benefits and payroll.
  • TriNet keeps us in compliance since we utilize their HR.
  • TriNet gives us the ability to over great benefits to our employees at a very reasonable cost - something we wouldn't have been able to do on our own, considering we have less than 10 employees.
TriNet assisted us with the PPP loan we had in place and then provided all of the appropriate information back to the government in order to have that loan forgiven.

TriNet has been a gamechanger for our company. We use TriNet for payroll, benefits, and HR support and it has made things significantly easier for our internal team. Processing payroll is very straight forward and reminders are posted in the platform so there is never a risk of missing the submission. TriNet also engages directly with employees when it is benefits open enrollment time -- our employees then select and register for benefits on their own. The only area I wish we had better support is with after-hours chat support. Some of our team members work outside of the US occasionally, so time zones can be complicated with getting live support.

I actually don't even know if we have premium support on our account. But I can say that whatever the level of support we currently have, it is very appropriate and has been helpful. I do not feel support is in any way lacking at this level.
Honestly, every single time I have had to reach out to the support team for an issue, they have been so helpful and knowledgeable with their responses. I've reached out for questions on the tax percentage withheld on separation pay, or for compliance questions related to an upcoming reduction in force, or for questions on withholding codes showing on an employee's paycheck. Truly across the board, each team member with whom I have spoken was extremely knowledgeable and easily resolved my issues.

Yes - The mobile app is very user friendly from an employee perspective but I didn't find it to be as easy to use from the company perspective. Therefore I normally only use the app when I'm looking at my personal details and not the company details.
