Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

I was recently tasked with finding a lead generation provider for our company. I was allocated a specific (rather tight) budget and had to research possible candidates, arrange phone calls with their representatives etc. I was the only person doing the research but my manager was the one who made the final decision about the project. I also had to keep my colleagues from the sales team in the loop and regularly provide them with updates regarding companies that I found and their overall quality.

Broad user reviews were especially helpful for me. The "star" system is also good, as it allows for a very quick look at what is even worth looking into/reading the reviews. The possibility of choosing a specific topic that interests me (for example ROI or likelihood to recommend the product) was super useful.
I looked for information about ROI. We were using a lead generation product before but we were not happy with the quality of leads/product so we wanted to avoid buying something that won't meet our needs. So anything about the quality of the product was of interest. Next, I looked at user-friendliness of the product, how it helped the reviewer, and if the customer service was of good quality.
The reviews were super useful as they saved me a tone of time looking into/speaking with companies that have a low quality of service and are considered not worth the effort.

  • Legacy companies - if there was a merger I would recommend merging the records as well (for example Hoovers).
I used G2Crowd and Quora. Quora had just a list of possible companies. I found G2Crowd messy: there are too many overlapping results. However, they do have one cool feature - they summarise the pros and cons of each company in a very short and efficient manner. They also have reviews, but I didn't find their website as transparent as TrustRadius.
Bigger databases of reviews, better user experience for me. As I said: the data presentation is really clear, the search results are excellent. There are a lot of filters to narrow the results if needed. TrustRadius provided the best quality of service as it was the easiest to use and it had the biggest database of what I was looking for.
TrustRadius was a great help while I was looking for a lead generation tool. It allowed me to separate the wheat from the chaff: there are many companies there that look great on the surface, but when you actually look into them, they don't present much value. Thanks to a big database of TrustRadius reviews and high quality of information I was able to narrow my choice to just two possible candidates. TrustRadius saved me a lot of time - if it wasn't for them I would spend many hours on the phone with companies that didn't have much to offer. I find the quality of information provided by TrustRadius to be very high; the website is user-friendly and transparent. Keep up the good work!
