Overall Satisfaction with TrustRadius for Buyers

I really like using TrustRadius to evaluate different marketing technologies. I have used it in the past to find the company I was reviewing, their competitors, and what other people think about the product. I usually share this tool with others at my company to do their own research. Overall, I will continue to use TrustRadius for future investigations.
  • Easy to use
  • Lots of context
  • Authentic reviews
  • Nice user experience
  • Look to get better responses from users
  • Expand to more platforms and technologies
  • Have video reviews or presentations
I have not had a chance to speak to a TrustRadius vendor in terms of pricing. I use their upfront basic free service to evaluate different marketing platforms. When reviewing this content on their site, they seem very transparent and upfront about pricing information. I see this for their own product and also others hosted on the platform.
I would say G2 has the most information available and is the most widely used. TrustRadius is a close second with all other partners like Capterra, Gartner Peer Insights, etc. being far and away in terms of usage. G2 has been around longer so they built up a large database of technologies. I do like how TrustRadius is set up and will continue to use.
I have used Forrester Wave reports for product research, but as a complement to G2 and TrustRadius. I feel that Forrester is a leader in the space in terms of quarterly/annual reports on the industry, but if you want true user qualitative reviews, it is best to use one of the two platforms mentioned previously.
I weigh these pretty heavily, but it is not the final decision. I like to see what other people think and usually see if the reviews are overall positive or negative. I would say a good product rating or score is 80%+ depending on the methodology and total weighing. I usually do not consider products with an average below 50%.
I would say having enough information on the product page and not having enough detailed and quality reviews. Since this is a user-generated content platform, having quality reviews at scale is the most important aspect of the site. The more information I have, the easier and faster it is for me to make a decision to consider a partner.
I think TrustRadius is a very easy-to-use platform that is a low barrier to entry. You can utilize most and the tools and functions without a log-in. In addition, the user reviews are mostly very well put together and there is a good vetting process to ensure they are authentic. The competitive analysis capabilities are great as well.
