Overall Satisfaction with UiPath Enterprise RPA Platform

We use UIPath in our organisation at the department level. Some departments use it to automate some of the applications. HR department used to filter the profiles and filter resumes for relevant candidates. The finance department uses it in their applications for invoice processing. IT Support team uses automation to process IT service requests.

Many business problems have been solved at our organisation to automate a lot of processes. Admin Rights access is now controlled by a bot. The request can be made by the employees and then access will be granted by bots.

  • Drag and Drop feature of activities
  • Integrated support of other applications
  • Backward compatibility
  • Tool has to be stable
  • Time savings that result in fewer FTEs.
We selected it because of the simplicity of the tool and ease of developing bots. UiPath Studio helps to develop and Orchestrator helps manage bots easily.

Before automating any process, it is important to analyze the process to make sure it is streamlined and inputs/outputs are digitised. Automated processes should be set up & changed thinking of the long-term. This will really help you to automate the process and save time/money.

Processes that are not streamlined and that have inputs that are not digitised (such as scanned pages or images) don't have good automation results. The inputs don't have a standard format, which makes it very complex to automate. If the process changes frequently, these are less appropriate to automate. It will incur more costs than saving.
