Overall Satisfaction with UKG Pro (formerly Ultimate Software UltiPro)
UKG Pro is being used through out our organization. We use in our HR Department, for benefits, time management, payroll and soon electronic file management. Our employees utilize the self service options.
- Electronic timesheets has been instrumental in processing payroll.
- Employee self service and mobile app is easy for employees to maneuver around.
- Payroll Processing is a smooth and easy process.
- Taxes - I have struggled in this area from the beginning. Even though I do see improvements over the last two years, there is still room for improvement. Locating QVR and receiving multiple emails when it is ready. Look forward to the fall 2021 release on payment services.
- Cases opened are sometimes not addressed as quickly as I would like to see. Again, this could be related to a lot of my cases are about tax errors, or notices from agencies.
- BI reports - I used to be able to search and find the reports I want to run, now they do not seem to show up in the search tool. Making more difficult to locate.
- Time savings with electronic timesheets, we manually added every timesheet into the time system prior to UKG Pro.
- Employees have the ease and ability to make address changes, direct deposit changes and W-4 tax changes.
I did not make the choice to implement UKG Pro, I was just hiring on into the company when it was being implemented. I did not like the customer service with ADP, it was all dependent on who you were able to talk to in the pool, and if you called back and talked to someone else most likely you would receive two separate answers. Consistency across the board was not positive with ADP. UKG Pro has been pretty consistent, if I received an answer that I questioned I may call back to see if I would receive the same answer. I feel like most of the time UKG Pro is consistent in their answers.
When I was processing one of my first payrolls, I had not selected the direct deposit tab at the start of the payroll. This was mostly due to my training but I missed selecting the direct deposit, and I had to call and have all 4 pay groups reversed, and had to stay until well into the evening hours to complete. The customer service rep was excellent - patient and explained what they had to do in order to correct. Lesson Learned, I implemented processes to check for these items before finalizing of payroll.
