Overall Satisfaction with UltiPro
Ultipro is being used across all departments for HR and payroll uses. It helps the company with consolidating information about employees and any HR issues or problems arising within each department. It helps our payroll department utilize time to point out any issues regarding incorrect time card entry or incorrect usage of vacation/sick/PTO time by allowing our clerks to review information only instead of both entering and reviewing information.
- It helps payroll utilize time with a simple interface when reviewing.
- The simple interface is easy for employees to enter information in correctly.
- It's easy for HR to access information quickly to respond to any issues arising.
- Ultipro is only good for employees that are hourly and salary workers; it does not work well with employees that may have multi-rates (i.e. contractors working for unions).
- Ultipro calculations of vacation time or PTO can sometimes miscalculate. Therefore, auditing in this area quarterly is recommended for employees.
- Ultipro could benefit from using a more complex set of systems for payroll instead of only being used for normal salary, hourly workers.

Our payroll department has definitely benefited from using Ultipro. It has saved us time by not having to manually enter information for employees. The self-service portal for employees is very easy to use for most employees, and also saves us time from having too many payroll calls regarding the software.
Ultipro is definitely most comparable to ADP regarding ease of use for employees and ease of use for payroll clerks. It is definitely easier to use than outdated systems, such as JD Edwards and EMPS. However, I would say its a close tie between ADP and Ultipro for simple payroll systems. I would recommend EMPS systems for more complex payroll.
