Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

I use Webex for internal meetings, daily communication between team members internally and for holding client meetings.
  • Allows for large meetings internally and externally.
  • allows you to create specifics rules for holding your meeting such as how you let people in, muting and unmuting participants, using white board, sharing presenters, sharing screen or information.
  • great background options
  • When there are allot of people on a call, it can be hard to have everyone on camera this seems slow the bandwidth down and causes freezing.
  • I have issues with calls dropping, this could be my internet but I am not losing WiFi just the calls drop.
  • Smoother transition on updates, often times when WebEx updates there is a time that the system seems to have glitches. When you use WebEx everyday that can be very frustrating.
  • WebEx allows for me to be very versatile it has cut down on travel cost creating more time on the important revenue generating activity.
  • Negative would be integration with other products, this can be an issues sometimes.
  • Positive is that WebEx has allowed for me to meet with larger groups of people within minutes and this has been a huge benefit for time management
WebEx is used more often, I find more technology companies use teams and educational based companies use Zoom. WebEx in my experience handles larger meetings with better bandwidth than its competitors.

Do you think Webex Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Webex Meetings's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

WebEx works just as well if not better than Zoom or teams. I do find that more of my clients use teams so it would be nice to see WebEx integrate with other products, although not feasible I do run into some issues where other companies don't use Webex and there employees can't get into the WebEx meetings. We are a large company and WebEx is a great fit for us, maybe for smaller companies and educational environments zoom is better but I cant really think of any reason where or why WebEx wouldn't be suitable.

Cisco Hybrid Work

  • Working from anywhere (e.g., coffee shop, airport)
  • Working from home
I am WFH completely and have been since Covid first hit. The hardest part was the phone system getting set up from my work from home space, that was an internal issue. The actual use of Webex was and still is very easy.
The only challenge was setting up the Cisco phone. I ended up just using my computer for Webex calls which works great and my cell phone for all other uses.
Using Cisco has been one of the easiest to use. Teams and Zoom continue to have a difficult integration when both parties are not users. Cisco seems to work with all my clients even if it is not the main system that they use within their organization.
Most of my clients use Webex however teams is another popular system. I have issues presenting in teams where with Cisco Webex I have had no issues.
Cisco has multiple options for me, which include personal multi users calls. Live meetings with large users and internal chat between me and my coworkers, I can have a fast video call quicker than using my cell phone. Through the internet I have clearer calls then I do with my cell phone. I wouldn't be successful at my job without using Cisco Webex.

Cisco Webex Experience

Since Covid I have been using Webex to run every meeting I have from simple meetings to large employee insurance renewal meetings. I am able to record meetings to send out to those who missed the meetings. Hold multiple sessions a day for multiple clients without leaving my home. I have very little bandwidth issues and very little issues with clients logging in even if Webex is not something they currently use.
Our company uses Webex internally for Instant Messaging allowing for multiple groups to be created. I can quickly set up a outside meeting right from my internal chat or go into Webex and create a formal meeting. There are many options that allow varies security set ups that fit your needs. I like having my own personal space to share with client for a quick call in number for multiple callers even if no presentation is needed.
I like the lobby option which allows me to manage who and when I let into my meetings. Passwords can be customized and when I allow people to enter in such as 5 minutes early ect.

Webex Meetings Reliability

I have never had a time when I wanted to schedule a meeting ahead of time or for that minute. WebEx has always been available to meet my needs.
WebEx for the most part runs great, I have only had issues when they are large meetings and too many people on camera. These situations we just have the presenters go on camera. This helps with the lag. However in small scale meetings there is no issues with everyone being on camera.
Working for a company that has extremely diverse departments all of our departments are able to use WebEx therefore connecting all departments in real time.
