Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings

Webex addresses our business problems by connecting our team members (which are located in different countries) and clients. Webex allows for real-time brainstorming, project updates, and creative discussions. Our use-cases can be virtual client consultations, team meetings, design reviews and workshops. Webex ensures that distance is not an obstacle to the efficiency of our work.
  • High quality video and audio (essential as we often show our work to clients)
  • Recording and playback (when one was not able to attend a session)
  • Screen sharing
  • The UI feels cluttered and overwhelming. At first glance, it is difficult to find the right commands.
  • It is not easy to share files
  • The mobile experience is not very good
  • Reduced travel costs
  • Easier collaboration with clients
  • Time saving (physical meetings are more lengthy)
Ensuring efficient collaboration between team members. Creating a sense of belonging and some team spirit in a hybrid environment. Maintaining the company culture. Finding mechanisms to evaluate productivity, provide feedback, and maintain accountability without micromanaging remote employees. Making sure that remote and in-office employees have equitable opportunities for career growth, visibility, and participation in decision-making.
Cisco's hybrid work solutions have ensure that team members could communicate and collaborate seamlessly, regardless of whether they are working from home or in the office. Additionally, it created a sense of belonging in a hybrid environment, which initially was a challenge since we needed to prevent potential isolation felt by remote employees and the creation of a divide between home-office employees and those working in the office.
I feel like me and my coworkers have been enjoying the flexibility that hybrid work offers. We can now tailor our environment to our needs, i.e. coming to the office for tasks that require interaction and staying at home for task that require focus. It has also improved work-life balance (as you save the time spent in the commute)
I would say that Webex is very strong when it comes video conferencing and virtual events. Microsoft Teams is ideal for team collaboration, integration with Microsoft 365, and a unified platform for communication and collaboration. Skype for Business was historically very good for unified communication (it was decommissioned and merged into Microsoft Teams).

Do you think Webex Meetings delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Webex Meetings's feature set?

Yes

Did Webex Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Webex Meetings go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Webex Meetings again?

Yes

Webex is really well suited for corporate meetings, especially those that involve remote participants. It is also well suited for presentations to clients, design reviews (using the screen sharing feature), workshops, and trainings.
Room for improvement: Webex can be an overkill for one-on-one chats and informal discussions. It also does not offer features for 'complex' project management, i.e. that would require detailed task-tracking and deadlines.
