Overall Satisfaction with Webexpenses

Webexpenses is used across the company as an easy way to pay employees for their expenses. Webexpenses allows me to provide written evidence and upload scanned PDF receipts when making a claim. I typically use Webexpenses to cover my travel expenses between sites and I am usually paid in a matter of days after making a claim.
  • Calculates mileages costs[.]
  • Allows written explanations of expenses[.]
  • Allows you to upload PDF evidence[.]
  • It's not very fluid or intuitive, I find I often need to save and then re-open the claim[.]
  • I am [the] only user so I cant answer this question.
It does what it says on the tin, there are a few minor annoyances, but I can always make a claim, upload the necessary evidence and the claim always gets [authorized] in good time and paid relatively quickly.
As a user, Webexpenses saves me time when making a claim. Pre Webexpenses, a written form was required with several signatures, and then left in an 'in' tray for days or weeks. Now it is all online I can see the status of my application and [authorization] is quick and easy for my manager.
As a user it meets my requirements perfectly, I can upload my expenses quickly and easily and get approval and paid quickly.

Do you think Webexpenses delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Webexpenses's feature set?

Yes

Did Webexpenses live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Webexpenses go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Webexpenses again?

Yes

Webexpenses is well suited if you are regularly traveling i.e., using a personal vehicle, the train or claiming for food but only doing single trips. Perhaps I don't know how to use it well enough, but typically I find I have to make a single claim for every part of my expenses, e.g., 1 for travel, 1 for food, 1 for entertaining, I can't lump these all under a single claim with a date or a series of dates.
