Overall Satisfaction with Wrike

We use Wrike to manage marketing projects. It has changed the way we work in a positive way. Prior to the pandemic, we operated through a makeshift process that wasn't able to cross departments (i work in intergrated marketing). In my position, I work across departments alot. Wrike allows us to work seamlessly on projects that require an integrated approach.

Pros

  • Seamless communication of projects when working in integrated departments
  • User friendly interface that allows users to update information in realtime
  • The ability to customize forms and templates to accommodate different external processes

Cons

  • The dashboards are helpful as a group, individually we don't use them.
  • Probably just an extra, but with AI, how can Ai be used to improve the platform?
  • Be cool to have Wrike be our one stop platform for everything. We currently use slack, for communication, and zoom for video calls.
  • Managing projects digitally has helped change the game in how we operate. We used to do it by hand. But moreso, it has allowed us to work remotely. Thats a really huge impact.
  • The ability manage projects on tight timelines. It is very flexible. We have a holiday campaign where have to publish 500 ads in short amount of time. Wrike has completely changed the game in organizing all of them as prior to the pandemic we did it all by hand. Not to mention all the errors because of that. Wrike has lessened our errors and frustrations.
  • Wrike is highly customizable for projects that require going out of the scope of our normal process. This is awesome because we can still remain in the platform.
Asana is a really good competitor when it comes to project management. We still utilize Netsuite for billing and resource management. Ultimately, we selected Wrike for a multitude of reasons: user friendly interface, highly customizable templates, ability to seamlessly integrate processes across departments and ability to communicate and update information in real time.

Wrike is well suited when projects utilize integrated marketing. We did not have a particularly effective process prior to Wrike. We had utilized two different systems. As someone who works with both digital and traditional media teams, being able to utilize one process has relieved so much frustrations, all around. I am able to communicate the same project to both teams in real time.
