Overall Satisfaction with Xactly Incent
We use Xactly Incent as a tool for calculating and displaying commission to our sales org. We utilize Xactly Incent to integrate with our Salesforce data.
- The new (ish) Incent UI is a great update.
- The ability to switch between orgs (Production/Sandbox) is super slick.
- Xactly Incent allows us to get out of spreadsheets and manual compensation calculation.
- I hate not being able to login to the Xactly Incent from the Sandbox org. Could be a problem specific to our org/auth configuration. Makes checking documentation or cases a clunky experience.
- I wish the Edit Roles UI was more user friendly. A side panel and having to scroll through a bunch of booleans isn't my favorite experience.
- I'd like to see preferences categorized somehow. A long list of random preferences can be cumbersome if the search doesn't return what I'm looking for.
- Xactly Incent is flexible when compensation plan changes are needed. We are able to quickly implement changes if the business requires a fast turn around.
We combine Salesforce data with Xactly Incent plan metrics to have a comprehensive view of compensation. Currently working on implementing a Snowflake connector to extract Xactly Incent data for further reporting.
I'm not involved in those conversations directly. We hear from our Sales Management and Sales Operations teams after those initiatives are ironed out, then tech implements the requested changes.
Integrating with Salesforce is invaluable. Automating data extraction from our CRM to Xactly Incent saves our teams a ton of time.
I haven't personally used any other products, but from what I've heard that's a blessing.
