Overall Satisfaction with Ziflow
I use Ziflow as a proofing tool for marketing deliverables across social, web, email and print, including our seasonal catalogs (200-500 pages). Ziflow has allowed our team to get feedback from cross-functional teams all in one place. We can organize feedback and communicate with team members all within Ziflow. Since I design many of the deliverables or am giving direct creative feedback, this makes everything streamlined and clear to me and my team members.
- Comments in proofs: You can tag them, copy them from version to version, resolve them and comment back. All of this is super simple to use.
- Workflow Templates: Setting up a workflow that automatically pushes the proof from stage to stage following a pre-determined timeline. Also, locking stages or proofs when a deadline has come or decisions has been made.
- Proof Organization: Being able to organize proofs in folders, locking or archiving them when you are done with them. Keeps this organized and clean when looking for proofs.
- Connecting to Asana: This may be a company thing that we have not figured out. We used to have the two systems communicating with each other but we haven't been able to get it for some time. I wonder if that can become easier.
- Uploading Proofs: Since the new version, there is so much clicking that has to be done with add messages to proofing stages and many sections. It's hard to click through it all and it feels like it takes longer than it did before.
- Efficiency is a big one for us. Having all of our marketing deliverables in one place and being able to send the proof right to their inbox allows us to skip emails and other communication. Ziflow does it all for us.
- Time saved by cutting down on meetings to review and emails that people have to sift through. This also goes back to efficiency because team members can review and provide feedback on their own time, rather than having to sit in a meeting.
- We love having a history of all versions in the Ziflow. We are able to go back to see feedback and where we started on previous versions. This is good to have when someone brings up something from the beginning of a project. Being able to reference that is nice.
Ziflow allows us to keep content moving through the approval process by the automated workflows that we have in place. Being able to set deadlines and and workflow stages. We can trust that proofs will keep moving through the approval process without us having to check on it all the time. We also use the auto-lock function with the deadline has passed or all decisions have been made. This keeps people from providing feedback past the deadline.
Being able to use all the of the comment features keeps feedback streamlined and allows for easier collaboration. We attach design suggestions in the comments or use the boxes, arrows, etc to describe what we are thinking. It is the best way for our team to work on creative together.

I only used Workfront for a short time before we switched to Ziflow. I know that pricing was a big thing and there were features that Ziflow had to offer that Workfront did not. One of those being the automated workflow process and being able to set templated workflows. I have liked Ziflow from an interface perspective better as well.
