I really recommend it for small business or startup as it contains many functions and collects a lot of data that helps to boost a product of your company since you can look for strengths and repower them, as well as improve the weak points of your product. It's very easy to use and integrate if you don't have a lot of knowledge in the area, so it won't be much of a problem to keep up with your product developments.

Great if your audience is on Facebook and you are trying to sell B2C. I'm not sure how that works on B2B.I also think it's a great channel for more visual products and experiences, but you need to know that it not only needs an analyst for managing, you also need a designer and creative person for making all the ads. The fact that ads fatigue over time makes management more expensive than other channels (AdWords) but it has great potential for scalability.Nevertheless, I think almost everyone can benefit from using it. You just need to know that it takes some time to master the learning phase (what segments, what types of ads, what messages, pictures, etc. work best).

Pros
Amplitude Analytics
- Charts - I love the charting elements from Amplitude because they are simple and intuitive.
- Ease of use - It has the ability to run complex SQL queries but more importantly the average marketer can use it and get the information they need without needing to have any technical work done.
- Cohorts - These make segmenting data easy and this is key in the analysis.

- Allows you to upload current email lists and drive ads to them more passively than email.
- Audience segmentation tools make it easy to target prospects based on actions taken on specific pages.
- Lookalike tools allow you to build new prospect lists based on common interests of your current clients.
- The ability to test multiple variations of ads against each other and report on them directly from the dashboard simplifies the decision-making process to optimize advertising efforts.

Cons
Amplitude Analytics
- Training my team on Amplitude is a little complicated, so I would say it isn't the most intuitive software. Certain actions require hovering over buttons in order for the options to appear which can cause confusion when initially learning how to navigate Amplitude.

- While Facebook for Business provides lots of data and information, we have seen anomalies that make us question the validity of this performance information.
- We are presented with controls to determine where our ads are placed, but sometimes they are changed without our knowledge. For instance, when Facebook Messenger became a place to advertise, we were advertising there without our knowledge before we were provided the option to turn it off.
- Facebook has a tendency to make changes and inform it's users after the fact, instead of explaining upcoming feature or layout changes.
- Sometimes the interface can be confusing when determining if a change has been published or not, resulting in times where changes were thought to have been made, but instead, it just sat in draft status.
- Very often, we find our ads disproved due to reasons that do not apply to our ads. When we request a further review, they are then approved. But, until we request the review, our ads are not running, and there is no telling when these disapprovals will occur.

We have to continue using this tool in order to be effective on this marketing platform. Though there are several changes I wish we could see, the fact is that we will still need to use this product to provide customers with the information they need.

I gave it this rating because it is so easy to learn to use and you are able to grow a following quickly by knowing when to post and who to post to or how to get in front of those prospects easily, and using those prospects to reach even further without any additional processes on your end through the sharing from your engaged readers.

It provides a super useful analytics platform. You don't even have to have coding skills to use it and almost no training is required. Features and analysis are very intuitive. Speed could be faster. I didn't experience any downtime while using it. It smoothly integrates into the normal workflow of a developer and provides a hassle-free platform to managers.

I've found the Facebook for Business support to be hit or miss. For billing questions they're timely and helpful. For complex questions about specific services I've often received a longer wait and a less helpful experience. I'm often redirected to their docs, which are often not particularly helpful.

If you don't want to display your feed to your boss before going over scheduled posts for the week, use the Business site and it will be less awkward instantly. Having someone lean over your shoulder is always a bit awkward, you think about how you smell, maybe consider offering them gum because they have bad breath

A lot of data can be tracked via manual tracking or linking to an excel sheet, but with such a huge amount of data, it is far easier to have all of it laid out in an easy to read format. The charts and graphs are easy to use and are really pretty user-friendly. The hardest part is in simply finding the event that you want to use.

Because I am more familiar with Facebook and Instagram, I have to say they are much better than using things like Twitter Ads & Google Ads. I produce niche products, so Google Ads doesn't bring me to the top of SEO with all my competition. Further, I don't really like Twitter so I don't find it to be conducive to create ads and find there is no ROI.

- Facebook for Business has helped us manage teams and communication better and in turn helped our business establish itself on social media. This in turn has helped us increase our sales-per-customer ratio.
- It has also helped us protect our key profiles and brand image on Facebook as we can easily assign and remove users from specific pages and accounts as needed.
