ApplicantPro is well suited in a environment where an employer isn't hiring a ton of people - this is because ApplicantPro is built with some automation, but you do have to pay attention to each individual candidate. ApplicantPro would be less well suited for a company looking to hire a lot of people or a company where they want to post a ton of different jobs Incentivized
cBizSoft's Exelare is very well-suited to the staffing industry. It allows for multiple contacts under a single client record. You can then enter & track all Jobs & Recruiting activity. It's fairly well suited to being a CRM as well. It does have the capability to link with ADP once you 'place' a candidate in the system. However, if you use another payroll system, you're stuck exporting reports & info to import in your payroll.Incentivized
Notifies me when someone has applied for a position.Send follow-up emails to applicants.Relatively easy to set up a job posting.Incentivized
Strongest aspect is how it enables the user to customize what fields they see and that it allows the user to filter on any and/or each of the fields in an Excel Spreadsheet like environment.Excellent list management features. Static lists as well as Dynamic lists are great.Great navigation and hyperlinks for all records.Incentivized
Recently it has been a bit harder to push jobs to my Favorite job boards. Can be hard to reach a CSR for help.Incentivized
The interface is a bit clunky. It would be nice to have a cloud-based version. It doesn't have the ability to mass-action candidates while in the Jobs view.I'd like to see the ability to create custom reports on my own.Incentivized
It is a solid product that is easy to use and implement.Incentivized
Overall there is a ton of useful functionality in the software. Reporting is great. You can mass load & edit candidates, & almost any type of record really. You can customize a lot of the menus for your own purposes & statuses for candidates. It can be used for Sales/CRM activity too. However, the interface looks like it was built in Windows 95 or something. The fact that it's not cloud-based seems to confuse a lot of our users Incentivized
We tried using BambooHR's built in job applications. It didn't post to near as many job sites and that is why we switched.Incentivized
Better than them but we did not work with them so we do not really know Incentivized
ApplicantPro has given us a cost-efficient way of getting our jobs out to several free job sites and does a great job of integrating with Indeed. We typically get a great flow of candidates when we post with ApplicantPro.Incentivized
It went from a less expensive alternative that did most of what we wanted better than our last ATS to being just the same price as their competitors. Hard to say what our ROI would be with the product.Incentivized
