Articulate 360 is great! Captivate has a little more high end customization capabilities and a cheaper price but it has a much longer learning curve and their new version is not up to par with Articulate 360. Articulate 360 is the best hands down.

Chose Articulate 360
Articulate 360 is the most robust and easy to use of the elearning development programs. It threads a fine line between being easy to use and still giving you all the tools to develop complex interactive modules. Captivate is the most similar, but the layout and tools are …
The winning factor for Articulate 360 Rise was the ease of use and compatibility with Mac. I like the other 2, but iSpring requires a Windows-based computer and Captivate is pricier. Some other members of my organization use Articulate 360 Storyline, but I choose not to. It's …
Captivate did not keep up with accessibility and other needs but also it was pulled out of creative cloud making it more expensive. Storyline is part of 360 now and it’s great for most advanced training development. 360 has all the tools I need in one suite so it’s just better …
Most of the other software don't have as many templates as Articulate 360. They are not as easy to use. Also, once you get an Articulate subscription, unless another software has a low price point or offers something unique there is no reason to change. I have not been …
I have only been in this position since February of 2022. I know our group has looked at Adobe and prefers Articulate 360. I also use Vyond. I would love if Vyond and Storyline were a little more compatible, especially with GIFS.
Adobe Captivate has a ton of incredible functionality. You're able to fully customize user experiences through interactive elements, buttons, transitions, hiding and activating various elements, and so on. But overall Captivate is insanely difficult for someone new to the tool …
When a developer is trying to build training materials it happens in two scenarios. The first is a properly planned and developed training course. This course has ample time to adjust and refine the content to make sure it meets the desired goal. The second scenario is the 'I …
Articulate 360 provides a much better result when training is taken in our LMS. It runs much smoother and faster with less interruptions than what was noted when using Abobe Captivate
With the older version of Captivate, do not like the learning curve. Articulate 360 eliminates that obstacle. I love Storyline and Storyline 2. I used Articulate Studio for several years, and it is very good for someone that knows PowerPoint, or wants to convert PowerPoint …
I have worked extensively in Adobe Captivate and found it to be much more of a challenge than Articulate 360. The learning curve is greater in Captivate and I found that far more steps and workarounds were required to create comparable interactions than in Articulate products. …
Articulate 360 the industry standard. Captivate seems clunky and lacks many of the essential features that come with Storyline 360. There is no comparing the two pieces of software.
There is no comparison in my book. Adobe Captivate served its purpose while we were using it but it's much clunkier and more difficult to use and learn. I had way more issues with that than I have ever had with Articulate 360.
We didn't look into much else as one of our customers was using Articulate and highly recommended it. It's been great for creation but the lack of included LMS is the sticking point.
Compared to Adobe Captivate, Articulate 360 offers the best of both worlds in Rise 360 (quick and easy) and Storyline 360 (thorough and sophisticate). Captivate would only really be applicable for eLearning Specialists whereas Articulate 360 casts a much broader net, and …
Our organization has mostly used prepackaged courses but needed more tailored training/topics and Articulate 360 allows for creation of short, long, overview, and detailed training sessions that can continue to be updated, as needed. It offers numerous features for creating new …
I love Articulate 360 and prefer to use it over Canvas which my company currently uses. In my opinion, when comparing Canvas to Articulate 360, Canvas has a more archaic interface and is not very appealing to myself and my students. Articulate 360 on the other hand, is very …
My choice for Articulate 360 is mainly based on the many possibilities that the product offers me. With Articulate 360 I can fully utilize my creativity. In addition, I do not have to worry about any impossibilities of the software, so that I can continue to focus on the …
Others in my department have used Lectora and Captivate, but we find Articulate 360's customer service, lively community, blogs, videos, and continuous updates make them stand apart from the others.
