Delighted is best suited for organizations starting off with their Customer Experience journey. Off the bat, you want to start with a platform that's affordable and easy to set up. Once you've gotten the hang of running a Customer Experience program, you can move up to a more advanced platform like Qualtrics. Luckily, Qualtrics acquired Delighted a couple of years back so transitioning should be frictionless.

Zoho CRM Plus

  • I use Zoho Social the most. There is a feature called "Bulk Scheduler". By uploading a spreadsheet with a number of posts I can schedule out up to 300 social posts to our Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google accounts at once. Then on the specified day and time, the posts go live. I typically only do a couple of weeks at a time so that I can keep the posts relevant to topics we are concerned with.
  • Pemco sells surgical instruments to hospitals. The end users are the surgeons. Surgeons may have privileges at multiple hospitals. In order for us to accurately reflect the information about our doctors and hospitals, Zoho CRM Plus has a "many-to-many" feature. This allows doctors to be associated with multiple hospitals, and hospitals to have many doctors associated.
  • I use the territory management feature to track sales by representatives. This is also a feature unique to Zoho CRM Plus. This helps us track commissions for the reps.

  • Having the ability to add in additional questions (more of a survey) would be helpful.
  • I wish there was a way to ask questions that would categorize the areas in which we need to improve. ie. "this is related to_____" and then have a drop down with different departments.

  • Zoho meeting camera options like green screen
  • Option for US support on some issues (while communication is good at most times, there are times when critical issues arise where a payable option for higher-level support would be helpful)
  • Filter to run emails through, like constant contact, to separate bad emails prior to sending.

We run surveys every single day and have the responses fed directly into our Slack instance. Everyone in the organization (not just CX) can view and resolve any issues customers bring up without needing for them to reach out to our Customer Support team. Truly, Delighted has made the organization more customer centric by delivering the feedback right where everyone is (no PowerPoint presentations required).

I have nothing but good things to say about Delighted's Concierge team. They have been quick to respond and have been able to make a lot of our customization requests a reality. They're also very open to product requests and suggestions and have been quick in churning out new features ever so often.

It would be nice if the customer could tell Zoho what they wanted the system to do and Zoho create the system. This would take more time upfront, but would also help save time on the backend. We don't have evertything setup at this time. Some customer service reps are much more knowledgeable than others so I always try to ask for them. Some of the support staff are very frustrating to work with because they will change something and not realize they change something you needed. So, I've actually had them reverse some of their changes.

I chose Delighted because it offered an affordable price point to get started, yet with plenty of room to grow. We started with 2,500 contacts per month, which is more generous than competitors offer at a similar price. I also saw that Delighted could integrate with Salesforce and Intercom (plus API capabilities), so I knew we wouldn't outgrow Delighted quickly. Since Delighted has been acquired by Qualtrics, I expect that its capabilities will only increase.

Zoho CRM Plus

I've used Agile and Salesforce CRM. Zoho CRM is much easier to use and more visually intuitive that Agile, and is much less expensive than Salesforce. It's the entire suite of modules, at a great price, that makes Zoho CRM Plus standout from their competitors. I've also has great success whenever I've had to contact their support team.

Return on Investment

Delighted

  • Our organization is focused on providing outstanding customer service, and we use Delighted to survey our customers and find out how they feel we are doing. We have been able to identify problems and hiccups in our service from customer responses with Delighted, and have been able to correct and improve on those.
  • As I mentioned earlier, Delighted is on the expensive side, and we have explored cheaper options. But the ease of use for our customers, and the easy to digest reporting has kept us with Delighted.

  • One negative is having to pay per user. For a small company, this forces us to share accounts.
  • We have been able to make our own email campaigns using templates that are very professional, saving graphic design costs.
  • Lead generation is very sophisticated and part of our plan.
