Discord vs. Zimbra Email & Collaboration

Personally, Discord is a great tool to create online communities for your company or product, especially when our target audience is young. I would not consider it appropriate to use this tool for people over a certain age, nor would it be suitable for companies of considerable size.

Zimbra is great for an email system for a medium or large organization with appropriate IT staffing. The system is easy to use for end-users, and has a fantastic web interface. Unfortunately, it is overly complex, when considering staffing requirements and price, when compared with Office 365 or Google Apps for smaller organizations. For other education customers, it is hard to compete with Microsoft and Google providing their services for "Free" now though

• Better Nitro Deals.
• Better bot enabling for going live - Slow sometimes or doesn't work in certain discords.

• The password change is not activated when you access by IMAP, Pop3 or Exchange sync. You have to know that the password change is required and you must go to the website to do so.
• The management of mail rules should have more checking options.
• There should be more applications compatible with Zimbra, the ones that appear in the Zimlets.

I can't really say much on this. It's extremely easy to use, it's very logical and intuitive, and very easy to install and set-up. Even the settings menus make sense even to nonliterate IT people.

I would give it a 10 rating because it absolutely deserves it. Discord has made things like keeping in touch extremely easy for people. Anywhere from gamers, businessmen and even family calls are all a part of this fantastic application. The ease of access of being able to jump in a room with your friends and talk to them is amazing

Overall, we were satisfied with the implementation. We perhaps should have spent more time consulting with Zimbra or others regarding best practices but as we got to know the system better we were able to make changes relatively easily after the fact.

Discord has better features and it gets updated constantly with new features. It gets popular everyday and the number of people using Discord gets increased. Discord has a better interface that is easy to use, it doesn't make you confused. Better voice and video quality. The most important part is the communities, there are thousands of different communities.

We selected Zimbra because it has a lower cost in the market, offers more development features for its open source, has a very easy to use interface and adjusts to the needs of the company.

• Discord has been such a bonus to our productivity. Instead of sending meeting links and starting lengthy email threads, we were able to quickly hop on a call with other people and get things done!
• Some colleagues had to change their PCs as Discord was messing up their system due to the heavy system load.

• Since all of our ROI studies and strategies are performed at the corporate level, I'm really not sure what positive or negative impacts Zimbra has had on our overall business objectives. I can say that at least one positive impact it has on my business objectives, in the medical record department, is the ability to be as paperless as possible.
