Likelihood to Recommend We chose to work with the Basecamp product and along with it came Highrise. They're a great 37 signals package together. So we chose to work with Highrise because of Basecamp
Read full review So there was a deal I was not able to find in all pipelines, basically in all deals view. Then I shifted it to a deals stages-wise view. It helped me understand how many deals I have in follow-up stages to keep following up on time. I will not miss any follow-ups, especially the ones that are very important to take. So that's what I like about HubSpot: they have views.
Read full review Pros Easy batch upload of new contacts - if you gathered names and contact info for a bunch of people at an event or conference or what have you, put it in a spreadsheet and upload it for easy and efficient adding to the database. Simple communication and outreach tracking - each user has an individualized dropbox email address; you can BCC:, CC:, or forward an email to or from a client or contact, and Highrise automatically associates and records that email with the contact in the database. Task assignments - users can create and task assignments associated with specific contacts (ie - Send Suzy J. a gift box on Oct 1; Follow Marla K. and Billy Z. on Twitter & Facebook; Get an updated address from Nathan R.) Tags - easily create lists of contacts who fit certain needs (I need a: food blogger, in TX, who has a Facebook page - we have "food blogger", "TX," and "Facebook" tags in our system) that is then exportable; also useful for knowing the important associations of a particular contact. Read full review Easy-to-use platform, simple navigation, and data entry that creates a good user experience. Integrations with critical software and platforms across all arms of our business. In-depth analytics that provides clear data on staff and organizational performance (i.e., revenue and sales tracking). Logging of communication to easily refer back to previous emails/calls/etc, including call recording, which is also useful for compliance and training. Read full review Cons Im actually pretty happy with the system as it is. The best aspect of Highrise is that it is very easy to work with - no need to struggle with manuals and lengthy training. Not really a problem I suppose but I pay for Highrise as part of a suite which includes other products - Basecamp, Backpack and Campfire. It would be nice to see more integration between these products. Read full review There are some limitations on report building. They need to have more options to add to the x/y axis There needs to be a more simple amount of time zones. They don't just have one per time zone currently which doesn't make a ton of sense. It seems to go out a lot. It usually doesn't take long for it to be fixed but still concerning seeing how I need it or else I can't do my job. Read full review To be honest there are some barriers due to which we are unable to use Hubspot at it's full potentials. The region that we work in has some restrictions that don't allow us to make calls or text which leaves us to just Email to the client.
Read full review Usability It's quick and easy to setup and use. There isn't any feature "bloat". Nothing to struggle with
Read full review I think the usability is great. I am able to train a new agent with zero experience in our process with HubSpot in a day or less. They can be proficient in using HubSpot quickly, the way I've designed it to work, in less than a week. I am able to load new leads, set calling campaigns, and start prospecting quickly. I've even had to call customer service for help, and they were super helpful.
Read full review Support Rating They are quick and SO nice. They are very friendly and are eager to help.
Read full review Because when I needed help HubSpot responded immediately and provided me with the information I needed which enabled me to realize that HubSpot was even more customizable and easier to use than I thought! And I already thought HubSpot was very user friendly and easy to use, and then Support showed me how to manipulate the settings, columns and the appearance of the tool.

Though getting to a SLA (service level agreement) would be best achieved with the help of a third party who can facilitate
Read full review Alternatives Considered Highrise is simple to use and is run by the same folks who build Basecamp and 37Signals. We wanted something that would do the essentials without the cumbersome bells and whistles.
Salesforce is almost too complicated if you don't have a whole sales operation and analytics division. One day we will probably outgrow Highrise, but not yet.
Read full review Salesforce requires a lot of in-depth knowledge both to implement and to manage. I found it to be quite clunky and there was an additional overhead for any marketing functionality, that wasn't up to par. Whilst Zoho had some good features, in practice the CRM was difficult to manage, customer support was non-existent, and like
Salesforce , required 3rd party support agents in order make simple changes. comparison, HubSpot allows the user to make many changes themselves such as adding and mapping properties, and also has excellent customer service. Combined with a well-rounded offer in terms of marketing, analytics and a good CRM, HubSpot stands out as the clear winner.
Read full review Return on Investment Better customer service, I am able to look up client info in a more organized way I feel that our efficiency has really increased. Highrise is a lot faster than our old program Highrise keeps us very organized. but it would be helpful if there was a project management section we could implement Read full review HubSpot is great for tracking deals - we use the deal pipeline to understand the part of the lifecycle that each and every deal is currently in. It also provides good historical information. The contacts section is great for storing and managing engaged users for our mailing list. We utilise this feature with the free version.
