Net-Results is very well-suited for small, medium and large businesses. They seem to be more advanced than what a typical enterprise level implementation would require. When selecting a marketing automation provider make it a point to find out the level of integration with Salesforce and other marketing technologies. Do they have pre-built automation modules or does it require building from the ground up? Also ask questions regarding its specific capabilities ... for example: is it a marketing automation provider? is it a CRM provider? etc

SharpSpring

I think any agency that's looking for a tool to resell could benefit from SharpSpring—mainly because of the price point and because it's all in one. I've noticed that clients get tired of having to pay more every time we want to try something new or step up their marketing. This allows them to have a better idea of what their expenses are going to be. I also think that small businesses that need marketing tools that won't break the bank can benefit.

  • Campaign branching: Criteria need to be selected one at a time, which can be very time-consuming.

Net Results is pretty easy to use and understand. I wouldn't say that it is the best in comparison to MailChimp's drag and drop email builder, but Net Results do so much more than MailChimp that it is hard to even compare the two. Overall Net Results has good usability

The surprising thing is SharpSpring is surprisingly fast to learn and easy to use so small business owners and marketing managers can login and see SharpSpring in actions for themselves. The numerous built-in help videos allow client users to become do-it-yourself marketers, which is very important to small businesses. This also means lots of users can figure things out on their own rather than have to schedule training or log support requests.

They always resolve my issue as best as they can, explain in depth and always offer many different venues to talk to them, whether it is through email, phone, etc. I can trust that it gets to someone and doesn't go into a blackhole, and I felt like they actually listen and are not dismissive.

Our custom application (CASL compliance) was not the typical on-boarding process for SharpSpring and they managed it very well. If we had to do it over, we would have let SharpSpring train us in their standard manner, trusting that the CASL compliance issues would sort themselves out in the process. Due to our own decisions we made our learning curve a little more difficult.

We've used ClickDimensions and Marketo. We felt that ClickDimensions was more limited as far as creating effective email campaigns and not as easy to use. It also is completely native to Dynamics CRM, which can be a positive and a negative. Marketo was the previous solution we owned, we are much happier with Net-Results. It's easier to use, not as complex and there is much better communication from their support team. When looking at a new solution we also looked at Act-On and Hubspot. Act-On probably would've been our second choice, but it didn't have as modern of a feel and wasn't quite as easy to use. Hubspot didn't really fit our business. It was very focused on SEO and blog posts. It didn't have the features we needed from a marketing standpoint

We previously used the Act-On Software through a 3rd partymarketing company.The fact that SharpSpring does not require us to use a 3rd party marketing team due to ease of use as well as offer more options at a lower price made the decision to go with SharpSpring that much easier.
