Net-Results is very well-suited for small, medium and large businesses. They seem to be more advanced than what a typical enterprise level implementation would require. When selecting a marketing automation provider make it a point to find out the level of integration with Salesforce and other marketing technologies. Do they have pre-built automation modules or does it require building from the ground up? Also ask questions regarding its specific capabilities ... for example: is it a marketing automation provider? is it a CRM provider? etc

SharpSpring

SharpSpring is incredibly well suited to any company involved in sales. It is also useful for companies who want an all-in-one marketing solution. This may not be the best software for a small company who is only just getting started in marketing and does not have much money to spend. That being said, it is definitely a good investment, as we've grown several of our clients since we started using this software with them.

  • Automated emails in a drip campaign that Sales can remove people from.
  • Lead scoring and alerts that go right to the lead owner.
  • Weekly reports to each Sales person with their hottest lead.
  • Very finely tuned segments that can be used for alerts, emails, and scheduled reports.
  • Integration with Salesforce. The Sales team can basically trigger their own emails.

  • Very easy to create emails. It is easy to upload photos.
  • The reports we get are extremely helpful. It has helped me craft better emails and headers as well as better predict the responses to the types of products.
  • Data uploads are easy.
  • Setting up automation flows are very intuitive.

  • Forms: Would love to have dependent fields, also ability to see all data a user entered without having to create a custom field for every form.
  • Campaign branching: Criteria need to be selected one at a time, which can be very time-consuming.

  • I'm not a big fan of their media upload section - specifically you can't upload videos to it. You can only link videos to it that were uploaded to other places like YouTube. While I understand the basic purpose of being able to track clicks better the way they do it, I want to be able to schedule video uploads to Facebook through Sharpspring and have the video native on Facebook as opposed to sharing it from YouTube.
  • While they have a lot of third party plugins through Zapier, I would like to see more native plugins.
  • The biggest native plugin I wish they had is a good message bot. I really miss that with my last software.

It delivers everything it promised and more. SharpSpring is marketing automation transformed. Easy to use, affordable and well supported. Many of our clients will become dependent on the information SharpSpring provides for their marketing initiatives and we are confident they will be there for the long run. When some of the over-funded 'big names' flame out, SharpSpring will be the clear choice for small business users.

Net Results is pretty easy to use and understand. I wouldn't say that it is the best in comparison to MailChimp's drag and drop email builder, but Net Results do so much more than MailChimp that it is hard to even compare the two. Overall Net Results has good usability

The surprising thing is SharpSpring is surprisingly fast to learn and easy to use so small business owners and marketing managers can login and see SharpSpring in actions for themselves. The numerous built-in help videos allow client users to become do-it-yourself marketers, which is very important to small businesses. This also means lots of users can figure things out on their own rather than have to schedule training or log support requests.

I give SharpSpring support a 10 because each time I've reached out to them I have received a response within 24 hours, if not less. I've had all of my questions answered and never had to follow up with them for a response. And their responses have always been very helpful, direct and clear. This is a friendly, responsive team who values their customers!

Our custom application (CASL compliance) was not the typical on-boarding process for SharpSpring and they managed it very well. If we had to do it over, we would have let SharpSpring train us in their standard manner, trusting that the CASL compliance issues would sort themselves out in the process. Due to our own decisions we made our learning curve a little more difficult.

We've used ClickDimensions and Marketo. We felt that ClickDimensions was more limited as far as creating effective email campaigns and not as easy to use. It also is completely native to Dynamics CRM, which can be a positive and a negative. Marketo was the previous solution we owned, we are much happier with Net-Results. It's easier to use, not as complex and there is much better communication from their support team. When looking at a new solution we also looked at Act-On and Hubspot. Act-On probably would've been our second choice, but it didn't have as modern of a feel and wasn't quite as easy to use. Hubspot didn't really fit our business. It was very focused on SEO and blog posts. It didn't have the features we needed from a marketing standpoint

We've looked at the other platforms that are available to us, but we haven't found anything better than SharpSpring. The other options are either too expensive or are lacking in the features that they have available to the users. SharpSpring allows us to offer a customer relationship management platform to our clients at a reasonable price while providing a robust and easy-to-use set of services.
