Paylocity provides 24/7 access to your online payroll and human resource data management. Paylocity offers highly customizable payroll functionality, as well as HR, benefits administration, and time and talent management programs.
Paylocity just works better and was a better fit. Paylocity is more streamlined and although the reporting needs work, it also has better reporting. Paycor was very limited and very tedious. You have to click nineteen different sections to get to where you need to be. With …
At a previous company we used ADP and while great for Payroll the price and lack of full featured functionality at a high price was a turn off. Happy to say that Paylocity meets our needs and continues to add new features all the time! Excited for our company to continue to …
Switching to Paylocity has been a game-changer for us, especially when it comes to clocking in without a hitch - it's been error-free! The platform is super user-friendly, too. You know how some systems make you jump through hoops just to find the clock-in button? Well, with …
Paylocity was already a company used for processing payroll when I was hired. I have worked with other payroll companies in the past that were not as easy to navigate or provide a help tool that can be utilize to get question to issue or help with finding a report to print in …
This is much better than Paycom, and much simpler than Dayforce. Paylocity does have some limitations, and as we grow bigger we may run into some issues with it. For now, it works well. Some things don't make sense but I eventually figure it out. We will see scalable it is and …
Those are the companies I've used in the past. I wasn't working at CNOB when Paylocity was chosen. But Paylocity is 1000 times superior to the two programs I used in the past! There are no secret codes for deductions or earnings; payroll registers are easy to read, and it's …
ADP - I couldn't say myself - but this is what was used before SDJA transferred over to Paylocity. Unanet - Was not fully trained when I left this job (not SDJA).
Pretty well, HOWEVER, Paycom has committed that if we switch over to their product, they commit to a $12,000 Event Sponsorship over the next three years. I have NOT found where I can even ask for this in Paylocity.
Paylocity treat their clients as co-creators. They listen to what works and what doesn't work and constantly seek ways to improve the system functionality.
Paycom and Paylocity were very close in offerings and cost. We used ADP previously and we were not satisfied. Paylocity fit our needs and seemed to be priced competitively.
I have used ADP and Ultimate Software and found Paylocity to be much easier to manage and process, including their tax modules. It is also much more cost effective.
I've been a Paylocity user for the last 6 years therefore I am proficient at Paylocity. Paylocity has helped me recently get 3 policies per person (261 * 3) signed off on by using the workflows dashboard. I think they can improve how the workflows are set up on their homepage when they log into the app. So whereas its helped get the employees to sign on their own time, it also would make it easier if it was easier to find on the mobile app.
A candidate being able to save progress on their application is really a must as they can't leave and come back to their application without having to restart, i.e. if they need to get a phone number for a reference for example.
Could use more room in entering the job for internal notes.
Quirky when doing cut and paste of job details that leaves spaces that aren't in the document being pasted.
We have had many issues with the way our platform was set up at implementation that still continue to plague us. In addition, our benefits, in particular our FSA, have been mis-managed causing a balance due from an employee (and also a lot of work for our accounting and HR team, as well as stress for the employee). Our service rep continues to answer incorrectly on many fronts (original response is usually check out this paylocity article, vs. helping) and recently our COBRA management was mishandled (not adding Dental to a person on Cobra who had requested it). So- all in all...we are not particularly happy w/ Paylocity
Overall, in my experience, Paylocity has been easy to use for both staff and administrators. First, the staff has an application and inputting Paid Time Off is easy to do. I then get an alert on my app and I am able to approve it on the spot from my app that gives me access as an employee and an administrator without having to use multiple apps or logins. As an administrator I think the portal is easy to use, Paylocity did a great job showing me tools and rolling out training classes before rollout.
Paylocity support is always available and I never have to wait endlessly on hold. If our dedicated account manage is not available, there is an entire team assigned to our account. Every one of them is knowledgeable about our organization and Paylocity's process.
Everyone wants immediate assistance. Awaiting a response from an email only to ask 2-3 more questions is time consuming. Within the first six months of setup, I would rather respond back to the instructors who provided me the training in each category of my contract.
I didn't have in-person training, but I'm sure it was just as great as any other training/assistance Paylocity provides. Paylocity customer service is always available. You never have to be on hold and their answers are always accurate and timely. Documents in the help section are helpful as well.
The training was live online, but was with a group of other companies. We did not receive any personalized training with our team. Whenever we would ask for training, we would be sent a peak article link or a video. It felt like the reps we dealt with didn't know the answer to the questions.
I had gone through an implementation process of another HR platform (Paycom) in my previous job and was traumatized, it was painful. I was surprised how easy and fast it was with Paylocity, the team was very helpful and set us up for success
We honestly had a program that only kept track of our Demographics, salaries, etc. then all of our Payroll was done on paper with paper leave slips etc. When I saw Paylocity, I was very excited about how easy it is/would be to use. [...] Our Paylocity rep that I spoke to was super GREAT in the explanation of Paylocity and I didn't even shop around much.
We started with approximately 100 employees and have grown to over 500. Paylocity is able to handle an organization's growth in terms of headcount as well as level of benefits offered.
