What is iSpring Learn?

iSpring Learn is an LMS for automating corporate training and improving employee performance.

The system aims to enable users without technical skills to launch eLearning in one day without training. To start training with the platform, administrators upload learning content, assign courses, and start tracking learners’ progress. The reporting features can be used to see detailed breakdowns of performance statistics for users, groups, and organizations. And feedback and comments can be used to help guide learners through the process.

With it, users can reflect their corporate hierarchy with different departments and sub-departments, set rules, and assign employees to a course automatically. Also, account owners can customize the learner portal to reflect their corporate branding.

iSpring learn enables mobile learning. Users can access course materials from their smartphones with the free iSpring Learn app for iOS and Android. The app allows learners to save content directly to their devices for viewing offline. All statistics are saved and synchronized with the system as soon as the device reconnects to the Internet.

We currently use iSpring as our LMS system for a variety of our online training courses.
  • Pretty easy to create a course on the platform
  • Has chat feature readily available for tech support
  • Flexible on programs they offer and billing terms
  • They are unable to fix about anything through their tech support.
  • They can't go into the backend of their program to see what you experience which makes for a lot of back and forth and them rarely ever being able to address a support issue.
  • Not compatible with Safari for published training and have to go through an app with smartphone.
  • Login emails unreliable...over 25% of my users constantly reported not getting them or they go to spam; not sure why, but on other platforms I've used this has never been an issue.
I was hopeful this would be great, but they just did not hit the mark. While their customer service is friendly and very responsive, they have really never been able to fix any issue I've had over 3 years. I've always had to do work arounds. And they really need to become compatible with Safari and not require an app to use their product if on a smartphone. None of our other LMS required this and became a HUGE pain for our clients.

  • Unfortunately, due to tons of glitches, we had to issue quite a few refunds over the years, and overall our customer satisfaction ratings went down.
Sadly, the program has lots of glitches, and no backend support. They can't duplicate the user experience on their end which means the burden is on you to provide lots of screenshots/videos etc. and then they still can't fix the issue and want you to just republish. We had less issues when publishing from their platform (though still some glitches) but if you want to import your own scorm file, forget it. It does not work well at all.
iSpring probably had the least functionality of all of them. Ease of use is similar to Skyprep (Tovuti was by far the most complicated), but iSpring did not meet expectations and had constant glitches that could not be fixed by their tech team.

The content creater, technical support admin and director of operations all used this product .

2 main users that worked in the system daily.
  • Deliver training
  • Produce Certificates
  • Need it to run seamlessly
  • On a good note, I did author a course on a later revision that made it easy to do on my macbook pro unlike having to use their software that was designed for a PC
  • We do not plan to continue with them

Yes
We were using Ontraport and looking for a much simpler solution that then complicated custom build we had.
  • Cloud Solutions
  • Ease of Use
We initially thought it would be really easy to use. And it was until the constant glitches.
I would have asked about back end tech support.
  • Implemented in-house
Yes
We had current clients use and test for 30 days prior to enrolling new clients to get feedback and address issues
  • Course building at the time was not compatible with a mac
  • Had to use scorm files due to compatibility issues which they said were supported but end up being very glitchy
I do not believe I was provided this as an option.
Yes
No bug was ever resolved.
The people I dealt with were kind, and they did try to compensate me for additional time in their system due to the constant glitches.
Pretty easy to use, but glitches a lot
  • Course building is super easy
  • Easy to build assessments
  • Constant Glitching
  • Users constantly complaining their progress wasn't saved
  • Not compatible on tablet/smart phone without use of an app
Yes
There is an app to download to train
