  • Standardizing office licensing has been a really big time-saver for both us and our clients. No longer are we having to manage keys or mismatched versions of documents.
  • Having a consistent email provider has made it much quicker for our teams to manage and administrate our users.
  • There are some limitations on certain versions of licensing, which can be frustrating, as the costs can pile up.

  • It provided a single platform for all of our communications. Previously, we had many different platforms being used (Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc) and it was a challenge to keep everyone in the loop.
  • While some of the other platforms are free for individuals, this reasonably priced solution is perfect for us.

  • ROI is impossible to establish.
  • In today's world, a company can't run without these functions.
  • Sadly, we're all used to the way office works, so moving to open docs or google docs isn't practical, Office is just a necessary evil.

  • Microsoft Office 365 has an overall positive ROI for our business because we are not having to purchase business software that we need separately and keep them all up to date.

  • It offers a unique experience for all employees.
  • Much easier to work with customers and suppliers since MS Office is the most popular format.
  • Life is easier with cloud sync. I can continue typing on my phone an email which was created as a draft on my laptop.

  • Licensing compliance and reduced complexity in software licensing in general.
  • Relatively smooth transition for end-users with very little disruptions to their work schedules.
  • Administrative tasks are way quicker and easier to achieve. Unified portals for management make it easy to manage online services and users.

  • I have decided not to pay for the 365 subscriptions, and instead use free apps, so for us, it's saved money.
  • Many clients have sent word .doc files or other similar Office files, and I have to find workarounds to access these without losing formatting, etc.
  • In the worst-case scenarios, this usually means importing the file type into similar software.

  • ROI with 365 has been great. It gives us the ability to create and present PowerPoint slides. Going to a meeting with just a USB key makes things easier to work on. This alone allows the implementation of "our" product to be shared and not require us to lug along computer equipment.

  • Positive: Cloud-based anti-virus protection.
  • Positive: User-based collaboration - users can create Teams without help from IT.
  • Positive: We are automating data collection that happens at repair and manufacturing facilities. These have traditionally been done on paper, and then either data-entered or filed/lost. Now we can use that data for forecasting.
  • No negative impact.

  • I believe the price per month/per user is acceptable.
  • Setting up Office 365 Business Exchange for emails was so easy, that I have convinced three tenants of ours to move their domain, and subscribe to Office 365 Business.
