The Okta Identity Cloud

I would definitely suggest this tool to my colleagues. When it comes to single sign to integrate all our applications under one umbrella, this will be the tool to go for sure. In our company, when we were moving our applications to the cloud one by one, we wanted one tool that could serve as a platform for all the applications with one password and with enhanced multi factor authentication and we choose The Okta Identity Cloud.
When it comes to SAP, integration with The Okta Identity Cloud was a little tedious.

Okta is best set for businesses with multiple Saas applications and resources that will allow users to have streamlined access to the different resources without having to log in to each and every application. The downside of Okta is the ability to have personalization across the different resources, but this really won't hamper the everyday business user.

Okta is the perfect solution once the company has grown to have a tech stack comprising more than 10 applications across at least 20 employees. It makes onboarding and off-boarding nearly seamless and makes it easy for the employee to know where/how to log in to required systems.

For smaller companies without a sophisticated IT team I could Okta being a bit too much to manage to start.

Okta Identity Cloud is Perfect for SSO integrations, Easy and supported by most of the vendors. Also they are supporting Auth zero and fastpass, passwordless login which again helping organizations in staying ahead in the game. They are providing several such features which would help securing Okta tenant in all ways.

This product has been in our enterprise for a while and new features are always welcome. Some other SIEM products in the market do offer additional features that Okta Identity Cloud can provide as well.

The Okta Identity Cloud is in my opinion the premier tool for providing MFA to your workforce. Extremely easy to setup, standards based, stable, and a lot of user self setup/self help features. Makes managing user identify and disparate directories much more simple. Less appropriate for providing a true application portal experience for users as it's integrations in that area are mostly for cloud-based applications and not on-prem systems.

On my daily basis of using Okta, it never failed to amuse me in every work-related concerns. Using the updated tools I am using under Okta, I can confidently provide best and quality options to every customer and clients I deal with. Because of the up to date information we have on the tools we are using, as a team lead coordinator talking with clients about hotel group reservations, we are able to assist them and look for the best available hotel that meets their preferences using the accurate information we have on the tools under Okta. Because of this, our repeat customers are also recommending our service to their friends and colleagues. In that way we also improve our sales and expand our growing team with the help of Okta. Easy to access, secured logins and accurate information designed for success for every business. I will receive a call from a client looking for a group reservation for a particular event, using the tools under Okta, I will provide the available hotels we have that suites the needs of the client then, close the booking as easy as that. Okta helps to make the work easier as I am using it when I started this company way back August 16, 2021.

Well suited for enterprises that leverage multiple partnerships for a tech stack.

It is well suited where user gets the access to change their own password and once changed, it will be changed throughout the company-wide applications under their Okta permissions and they don't have to call the service desk and wait for them to change it. It is very easy for adding various applications to add into the dashboard for users to access under one roof.

Okta is suited when we want to restrict the users to use a few functionalities of the product. We can use it to authenticate and authorize the user. With one login, we can use all the other apps without individual login to each and every product. Okta's homepage can be improved.

The Okta Identity Cloud is best for my online group booking. The Okta Identity Cloud makes my job easier where I can access different tools for my only booking for my clients and this provides security also to my tools. I could say that Okta Identity cloud can help you enhance your ability and help you learn or discover new things every day.

Okta service is great to access apps via Single Sign-On facility. But yes it need an improvement where we need to reset Okta service when thing got broken.

My feeling is that Okta is well suited for internal / employee facing authentication needs but is a bit on the expensive side for use in externally facing B2B and B2C requirements, so my company uses an alternative for that use case.

Okta is well suited for all of our expectations when providing single sign on into on-premises applications and multi cloud environments. The process to implement or instruct end user to configure their MFA seems elusive [in my opinion]. It feels to me that whenever a service offers mfa, it seems hidden and not something well documented or top of mine.

it was well suited condition we wanted control which users can access which apps. And also when employee is terminated just disabling user, disabling access to any app that control by Okta.

One thing is always problematic session management. Because if user already logged in and there is no way to logout user if user is terminated.

Well suited for SSO and Identity use cases.

Auth0 is extremely well suited for providing authentication and authorization to API endpoints, as it ensures that the company does not need to write its own security wrappers. It is probably not suitable where the use case is something specific in which case they will need to write their own auth layer for protection.

Auth0 is excellent for sites requiring social media authentication. The social media integrations are updated and always work.

It is configurable. We are using it for authentication.

Well suited for authentication via Identity Providers, Users, and API security management. I can´t think of [an] authentication scenario where Auth0 can´t be used.

It is THE exact SSO solution that any business would want. Capability is definitely out there. Some UI elements are a bit rough, but the product is very solid.

[The] Okta [Identity Cloud] is great when your business has grown to the size that you have multiple users accessing one centralized portal or platform that you want to keep protected. However, if you are just a smaller group, perhaps services like Last Pass would be better suited for below the same price point.

It is appropriate for any organization where security is a concern and [the] ability to provision users and manage application lifecycle that supports modern authentication. Organizations today tend to use multiple applications from various vendors delivered on the cloud and a cloud identity solution is well suited in this case. It is a must-have tool in digital transformation for any organization.

Easy to integrate. Highly reliable.

Where we need to develop using agile methodology and to fast development this is suitable in that case, and if are looking to build our own login system with our security then it is not suitable.
It has been a great experience using the product, given that Auth0 is a trusted Identity product, we have not much complains benefiting from the features that the product is getting us. It is up to standard, and we have not much worry to get the platform into production usage.
