Veeam Backup & Replication Road Test
At some time, we needed to move one VM to another host with the same OS, shut down the VM, then performed a backup of the VM and restored on another host and started up. All was fine and working, checked the Operating System, configuration, and data on the VM and it was all there.

Complete backup and DR solution for VMWare
We haven't used Veeam for our cloud infrastructure backups due to a cost constraint. When we were first interested in using it for our Office365 corporate environment, there was no additional cost however Veeam then changed this policy. The cost quoted was excessive so the business decision was to use a different product for this, unfortunately. From my sys-admin role view, it would have been better to keep everything in the same place.

Veeam Backup & Replication Review
We do not currently use Veeam Backup & Replication to backup to any cloud platforms, by choice, so have not benefited from Veeam Backup & Replication's ability to do so. With that said I am a big fan of Veeam Backup & Replication's capability to extend DR and backup to the cloud and think it is the best option to do it if you are going to purchase the space for it to take place.
We are not using it right now, but this is the feature we want to try.

Veeam Customer for Life
On top of backing up to local, segregated storage on our premises, and backing up regularly to tape, we also backup nightly to an off-site cloud provider. Veeam makes it simple - all we had to do was enter in the connection information provided by our cloud provider, tell Veeam what backups to copy, and then when to perform the copy. We are looking to move towards replicating our infrastructure off-site (versus just backup copies) and we look forward to utilizing Veeam for this.

Veeam really outperformed TSM in no time
We currently have an old IBM v5000e SAN and a TS3200 library. With Veeam the integration was transparent. We used to have Tivoli and we couldn't use any of the cloud options to backup our critical information. With Veeam this [problem[ ended, and we can backup to AWS and MS OneDrive without spending a lot of resources and money.

Veeam: It Just Works
We have been able to use NAS devices for our ROBO sites so that has saved us a lot of costs. We don't need to deploy expensive backup appliances at every ROBO site we have. We have taken that savings and used it to make sure all our sites have the backups they need.
Veeam Backup & Replication has been designed to backup critical data to lower-cost object storage and to restore data backups directly to a variety of cloud platforms but we don't use cloud platforms because the infrastructure is not connected to the net or the backup server. We backup in various locations so that data is always available for different kinds of users.

Get peace of mind with Veeam
Other than having the capability to restore to the cloud, we have not had to use it which is a good thing. We have restored customers to the cloud as a service to support them. It meant everything to their business to be able to be back online quickly and completely.

Veeam Backup and Replication is THE answer for your virtual backup and replication problems
We have not utilized the Veeam backup to cloud aside from doing some testing of backing up to Amazon S3 cloud. The testing has gone well but we haven't deployed this organization wide as of yet because we have an existing cloud backup solution that we are happy with. We may revisit this in 2021.

MSP's perspective on Veeam Backup & Replication
We like that the month-to-month cost is predictable and very reasonable and appreciate the flexibility to target different cloud platforms (however we only target CC in our datacenter, so it's not applicable for the most part).
We have tried some restores to AWS for some one-off situations and did run into more problems than it was worth recovering some Linux VMs (mostly due to supported platforms or environments in AWS), and we haven't tried to recover Windows VMs to AWS nor to other cloud platforms.

Veeam - To Infinity and Beyond
We are in the process of building a limited cloud infrastructure. We bought Veeam backup and Replication knowing that it can protect Azure and AWS workloads. We plan to use this fully in the future. The license model allows for X number of virtual machines to be backed up. It doesn't matter if they are on-prem or in the cloud.
Yes. We have been able to use backup storage solutions such as Synology devices to backup machines on premise and store data with retention periods which satisfies the needs of the business. We have not tried integration with any cloud storage solutions as yet.
