Connects well for basic use, but for larger enterprise projects I don't see it integrating easily. Like I've said, I wouldn't use it for larger companies anyway so that's not really something that needs to be evaluated.

Zoho Books is being used by our department for 1-2 years. It is very useful for our business. The support offered over the phone and with screen sharing to get us started up was exceptional and really made a difference. Recommended and trustworthy application. Good service, features, and tools are amazing.

Zoho Reports works really well with the Zoho project planning application Zoho Projects. It is beneficial for us to be able to give leadership members these reports instead of having them go through the individual projects. By connecting tasks to users, it also helps our team see who is doing what and who is behind on what so we can allocate additional resources to a task.

Most other BI tools that we reviewed did not work well with schema-less JSON formatted data sources from NoSQL data stores and APIs. Zoho Reports handles this very well by converting the data to a flat rows & columns structure intelligently, while giving us the control to select/de-select columns and column data types.

In addition, Zoho Reports supports the more traditional forms of data sources, e.g. CSV files & Excel files. It also supports import of data from cloud storages like Dropbox, Google Drive etc.

It connects to your tables and allows you to report on anything that is contained in there. The free version lets you hook into three tables to harvest data to create your reports.

There is a broad range of data sources available and linking it is super easy. Haven't tried SQL databases yet, though. So not sure how that would turn out. Otherwise, scheduling with gdrive docs is great and excel uploads work fine. Sometimes, thousand and decimal separators are a bit of a pain when working in Non-US countries but that's ok - used to it.

I think that this is the best feature (at least for our needs). It's extremely easy to pull in data from external sources and it alerts you when there are issues. Once it's set up correctly it just runs and runs well. This is the primary use of our team and it exceeds expectations.

I've used JSON feed and HTML, because those are the two live formats available from our management software. Zoho is quite good at importing data, scheduling feeds, and refresh. The wizard tool is quite intuitive (or seems to be, maybe I've just imported a lot of tables). My only struggles were due to the formatting that the other software puts on the JSON file.

This wasn't utilized outside of using other Zoho products as the data source and that functionality, which should have been extremely strong being that all products are under the same umbrella was ultimately the reason we did not move forward with Zoho.

The amount of different options available allows for easy import of data and collation of information into a single environment. Provides the means to allow the creation of a single report containing critical information from totally disparate systems and sources.
