Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

We use ActiveCampaign as our primary email service provider. We have it connected to our WordPress website and our primary use case is auto-fulfillment of ebooks, e-courses, and contact forms. We have used the workflow builder to drip out email courses, add new tags and segmentation based on user behavior (email link clicks and opens), and add leads to various nurture programs.
  • The ability to create two different pathways is amazing.
  • The visual workflow builder is so intuitive and easy to use.
  • We've loved the ability to sync with Gravity forms and have those form submissions trigger various workflows
  • I don't live the form or email builder. The WYSWYG isn't great
  • Would love better reporting. It isn't intuitive to find email performance
  • Dashboards. Where are the dashboards?
  • ActiveCampaign has made it substantially easier to segment my leads giving me the ability to deliver more personalized messaging.
  • The ability to test has given us valuable insights into what our customers want to see.
  • Our automated nurture campaigns help us get higher conversions from cold leads.
For the price and available automations, I haven't found a better fit for our needs. There are ESPs out there that have better email and form builders but don't have nearly the automations. There are services that have a much better (more sophisticated) CRM but cost 3x as much and require a yearly contract. There are others that integrate better with e-commerce, but I don't do e-commerce so that doesn't matter as much to me.

In my opinion, ActiveCampaign is ideal for A) a small business where a basic CRM is needed. You want to create and track pipeline stages but don't need anything overly sophisticated or complex. B) You don't need a CRM but don't want to pay a ton for a robust email platform. The automations and triggers included in ActiveCampaign are top of the line.
