ActiveCampaign for small business
Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign
I use it to collect and filter leads into their relevant categories and for sending weekly newsletter style emails and sales emails. I needed a platform that could collect emails through various lead magnets and we able to analyse and filter these leads down the correct email sequence that was relevant for them and encouraged greater conversion and sales depending on what they were interested in.
Pros
- Collects and filters emails from various lead magnets exceptionally well (especially if a user wants to re-sign up to the same lead magnet and go through it again, they can)
- Super easy to use email creation that is aesthetically pleasing and user friendly
- Easy email sequences and user classification from a large range of opt in trigger options
Cons
- Sometimes the email creation can be glitchy and the font size drastically changes
- Copying copy into the email builder always requires clearing the format
- The opt in/sign up pages aren't super aesthetically pleasing in the lower cost memberships
- Encouraged more sustainable sales
- Quickly builds client know, like, trust factor
I transitioned from Mailchimp to ActiveCampaign because it was so much more user friendly and allowed me to do a lot more in regards to lead magnets than Mailchimp can. For example, ActiveCampaign allows users to sign up for a lead magnet as many times as they like to keep receiving it (in case they've lost or deleted the email with access to the lead magnet). Mailchimp was unable to do this. And the categorization of users and the trigger email sequencing was a lot easier in ActiveCampaign.
